This week we have yet another stellar guest mix as we head to Belgium to lock in with up and coming techno artists Adjust.  I have been in contact with these guys for a while now and keeping close tabs on their progress in both production and also their mixes which they certainly know all about how to build a proper set and their awesome ability to traverse through multiple sub genres of techno.  There is no doubt in my mind that these boys are definitely going places, but for now prepare to Adjust your mind and get your teeth into this guest mix!

Leah Rose grew up in the North West of England in a small town called Skelmersdale. She has always aspired to be a singer from an early age and so, she began mimicking her favourite artists such as: Whitney Housten, Loleatta Holloway, Mariah Carey and so on. 

As she grew older, her talent was beginning to be noticed by many people from all over the country. Leah gained a 2:1 degree in Musical Theatre at the London College of Music and since graduation, Leah has been singing for many different artists. Leah also began her DJ career with her👫🏼 partner Jordan Wilding, thus the launch of PROJEKT II. Together, they have played for the well known house and techno brand, Symposium. They have also had many gigs across London. 

A project that kick started her singing career was a song called 'Trust' produced by Iglesias and Proudly People. The song got a lot of recognition and was even played at Printworks in London. Since then, Leah has been in talks with many artists from around the globe within the techno and house industry. 

That being said, Leah has many more exciting projects to come and is passionate about stamping her unique and 'diva style' vocals on the tunes of others. 
"I am excited to see where this journey is taking me and I have loved working with everyone I have worked with so far. Each person is different and has a different taste for vocals so it is such an exciting reward to be able to meet the requirements of each individual producer. I love getting creative with some of my favourite producers and to have my voice featured in their tracks is truly epic!"

House & Techno DJ & Producer. 

Jordan has been exposed to electronic music from a very early age and owes this to being born and bred in the industrial town of Blackburn, Lancashire - a place that is steeped in rich history when it comes to the four to the floor beat, at first taking an interest in acid and classical house music that originated from the 80s and early 90s.  

In 2013 Jordan moved to London where he was indulged in the deep house scene which was gaining momentum at the time.  It wasn't long before he was attending various parties across the capital, learning of new sub genres and realising the art of DJing. Not long after that he was on the 1s and 2s and that's where his love really began for music. "It was awesome that I could mix and manipulate tracks to my tasting - where I was in control. There is no better feeling than seeing people smile, groove and most importantly have a good time with the reason being you have set the atmosphere and are playing the right beats!"

These days, Jordan is usually found to play heavy driving techno sets, filled with rolling drum kicks, rich synths and the occasional touch of piano which take him full circle from his first experiences.   That said, Jordan is still partial to play across the board from disco to house and beyond.  Jordan has been playing events for one of the North West hottest brands - Symposium as well as being involved in the formation of London based Metamorphosis.  He has now also began to take the next step by focusing in on production aspects which is ever developing.  Be sure to watch this space as big things are predicted to follow!
