Biography:
David Gaona, Dj/Producer born in México in 1985.
In 2003 he attended at his first rave party, where he meets more closely the electronic scene being fascinated by their unique sounds.
Since then he had development much interest in the art of DJ, but it was five years later in 2008 when he created his first project under the name "Imox-Ent" mixing from Techno, Tech-House to Psychedelic Trance.
However, the Progressive House genre remained as his greatest interest, the influence of artists such as Marcelo Castelli, Sasha, John Digweed, Hernan Cattaneo, Indaba, Danny Howells, Nick Warren, among many others; is what leads him to create a new
project in 2010: "DONDA" where he also started professionally his phase as electronic music producer.

Durante la sesión, explorarán diferentes atmósferas y emociones, desde ritmos frenéticos y enérgicos hasta melodías más emotivas y tranquilas. He creado esta sesión mix para llevarlos en un viaje sonoro lleno de emociones y sensaciones, y espero que lo disfruten tanto como yo lo hice al crearlo.

¿QUE SIGNIFICA ETHERAL EN LA MUSICA?"Ethereal" es un término que se utiliza en la música electrónica para describir un tipo de sonido que evoca una sensación de lo sobrenatural, de lo celestial, de lo etéreo. Es una palabra que se asocia con la sensación de flotar, de estar en un estado de trance o de estar en otro plano de existencia.

En la música electrónica, el término "ethereal" se utiliza para describir una música que es muy atmosférica, con texturas etéreas y sonidos envolventes que crean un ambiente que puede ser introspectivo, melancólico, místico o hipnótico. Los artistas que trabajan con este tipo de música a menudo utilizan sintetizadores, pads y efectos de reverberación para crear un sonido que parezca provenir de otra dimensión.

La música electrónica "ethereal" a menudo se asocia con subgéneros como el ambient, el drone, el techno ambiental y el IDM (Intelligent Dance Music). This week we are thrilled to welcome one of Australia's rising prog artists, @kallisto_music for her very first appearance in a Canadian show!

Kallisto - aka Melanie Carr is a New Zealand-born and Melbourne based DJ/producer who emerged in 2022. Her DJ sets, the energy behind the decks and upcoming releases draw on her love of deep progressive house and techno. 

Drawing on her experience in underground music as both an independent festival organiser, dancefloor lover and longtime music superfan. She describes her sound as a unique fusion of artists such as Stan Kolev and European Progressive House artists, Jerome Isma-Ae, Cream (PL), Paul Thomas and the like.

Kallisto's first single Age of Time dropped in February 2023 with another two tracks on the way. She has been working tirelessly in the studio to move her sound beyond music and vibe curator to music creator. Bringing her own unique vision to the production space.
