Warriors (We, Are)

I had something to prove when circumstance forced my wrongful execution, or so I tell myself.
Instead, the depths; a dark warm embrace, burdened me anxious.
I wish it were simple: Growth, change, pain, joy, love, and the lack thereof, continue to warp my understanding of them all.
Oh, how time has exhausted my optimism, and curated my honesty. 
So cast me a soul mate, or just let me sleep, this endless source of doubt will only lead to suffering.
“You did this to me!”
“Everything will be okay?!” 
… Then it wasn’t. 

Now, I feel lost… And we can compare our loss, but it’s not about anger, nor even of shame;
I felt something go missing and I’ve never been the same. 

“I just don’t care; and I’m a Liar.”

Thats the things about guilty voices, a silent serenade, softly, now to sleep.

As I find cover from the storm, and re-structure my approach; I’ve had time to learn.
Not due to any nurture of ability, that’s not what I see... Instead, oppression of self stained me spiteful; motivated.

So I do my best to control the chaos, but this ocean is angry.

These words of comfort are captive, repetition; overdosed.

Mistakes Are Scarier Then Monsters (DEMO2020)

WHAT ONCE WAS A GLORIOUS FLAME	
IS NOW JUST BARELY A NAME.	
AND ONLY TIME CAN TELL THIS STORY	
BUT TIME WILL NEVER SPEAK.	
FOR IF HE DID THE POWER POSED	
WOULD SURELY BE THE END OF EARTH.	
SO IN HIS PLACE THIS BLADE OF GRASS	
WILL DO HIS BEST TO PORTRAY THE ASH. 	
THE RISE THE FALL THE MENTAL DECAY	
THE VOICES AND CHOICES THAT LED TO A GRAVE.	
UNMARKED AND STILL EMPTY HE KNELT BY ITS SIDE	
JUST 'ONE LAST PRAYER' HE THOUGHT,	
BUT WOULD THAT MAKE IT RIGHT?!	
LOOKING DOWIN IN PITY AT THIS MAN THAT THOUGHT HE HAD EVERYTHING	
A NAME A HOME JUST BARELY A LIFE TO HOLD, BUT IT WAS EVERYTHING TO HIM. 	
NOW ONLY THE DIRT IN HIS HANDS HAS VALUE	
HE DIGS AWAY TO ADD A FOOT TO THIS GRAVE	
"I WONT QUITE FIT" HE SAID. 	
"I WONT QUITE FIT"	
ALONE AND LONELY EMPTIED OF PASSION FILLED WITH DOUBT. 	
NOT ONLY IN THE PEOPLE OF THINGS AROUND HIM, 	
BUT IN SELF; HE CONTINUES TO DIG. 	
AND NO ONE KNOWS  THE EXTENT OF HIS SUFFERING 	
BECAUSE HE KNOWS NO ONE.	
METAPHORICALLY CREATING BEAUTY 	
IN SPITE OF WANTING NOTHING TO DO WITH IT	
HE WORKED HARD TO BE NEEDED, BUT THE SUN TOOK AWAY HIS VALUE.	
WITH NOBODY LEFT TO PROVE HIS WARMTH HE QUICKLY BURNT OUT	
AND NOW,  FULLY CONSUMED BY COMPLACENCY’S SHADOW	
WITH NOTHING OF VALUE WORTH FIGHTING THE NAMES	
A NUMBER A MAN A GRAVE OR ASH	
IS ALL HE WILL REMAIN
