The second edition of IN SPIRIT Holistic Music Production Retreat took place at Aterra in Portugal in the summer of 2019. Aspiring artists, passionate musicians, and experienced music producers met with the mutual intention to learn about music production, co-create music and reconnect with their essence by surrounding themselves with beautiful nature and listening deep within through meditation, breathwork, and sacred rituals. You can experience the result of this deeply transformative, inspirational, and healing journey AND directly support your Mother Earth with this compilation. Since we have received countless blessings from the sacred lands of Portugal we are grateful for the opportunity to give something back. All the income from the compilation will be donated to fund an organization that is planting trees. For every single Euro that you spent, 1 tree in Portugal will be planted by our friends from Primal Gathering.

Jorge da Rocha is a Portuguese musician living in Spain. After playing with many groups from the Barcelona music scene, Da Rocha starts is solo project recording two albums: These are a few of my favorite songs (playing cover songs from Radiohead, Massive Attack, Björk among others) and To drop and let go, with his own compositions. Both albums were recorded only with two instruments: double bass and voice. And what a wealth of possibilities the combination of double bass, loop station and celestial vocals produces! Jorge’s one-man-cosmos creates magical moments and seduces the listener in the discovery of new soundscapes and songs that show the artist's own universe, his feelings and emotions, his experiences and the dedication to permanent personal and artistic search. A search that aims for finding new ways to arrive at the same destination: the heart and soul of the listener.
Jorge is in a continuous process of developing his passionate expressiveness with the double bass, voice and words, breaking the borders of its jazz career and incorporating it into its passion for modern and alternative music, for world music, electronic music and songwriting.
