With ‚Illesnoise vs. Juli Holz’ we present a split-EP by two young ladies, who masterfully know their craft. 

During the past years, Illesnoise has made a name for herself in the Dutch scene as an unerring DJ with a distinctive feel for flow and melody. With ‘Nova’ she now celebrates her production debut. The result emphasises the maturity, which only a schooled DJ can bring to the table, as an enveloping bass-line glides through an arrangement of harmonic synth-bells and an emotive vocal loop. On his techno-leaning remix, Oliver Koletzki ups the tempo and focuses on peak-time atmospherics. 
	
After a teasing hiatus, we are glad to welcome back Juli Holz, who has exchanged the emotional cotton candy for an altogether darker dance-floor-aesthetic. ‘Drive’ captivates by way of deep sawtooth bass and, of course, Juli’s brilliantly distinct voice, which can be heard here in the most diverse facets. Kind of leftfield, but marvellously danceable. Lastly, Dan Caster delivers a driving remix of epic proportions. Girl Power!

In this closing instalment the duo return to where it all started, featuring the vocal power and glory of Beth Rowley, singing words born in simple conversation with Holland, over the driving skittering production of Old Man Diode. Morning Gate is a powerful elative song, ready to be an anthem for the lighter months, another step into the unknown mist and the beauty ahead of us.

For anyone lucky enough to see the live performances of this project, the raw power of Guy Wampa's drumming will have been a memorable element of the whole. As the live show has influenced the production process of the project over the years, this release comes with two versions, The studio version based around cut up amens and sine sub and the live version with Guy Wampa accompanying Rowley and Diode on stage.

Dreams [LNTG Version]

The seeds for this exciting collaboration between Nick Warren and Guy Mantzur were sown a long time ago during snatched conversations at airport terminals, online and at various shows around the world. But, their hectic schedules has meant that patience has been a necessary virtue when it came to actually finding time to work together on this new project. However, the final product – “Sad Robot” – for John Digweed’s Bedrock label has definitely been worth the wait!

This sparkling gem of a track pushes all the right buttons: a low-slung, percussive groove backbone, peppered with twisted vocal snippets and an ebb and flow of euphoric attitude that only comes from years of experience of rocking the best dancefloors around the world week in week out. With added excitement in the form of an energetic, throbbing monster of a remix by Musumeci (aka Sicilian DJ/Producer Mauro Di Martino) – this new package from Bedrock is set to fly.

Nick Warren has just recently returned from another successful tour of South America, and is currently working with production partner Jody Wisternoff on a new Way Out West album. Meanwhile, Guy Mantzur has forthcoming releases lined up on Kompakt and Lost & Found. This first meeting of musical minds for Bedrock has proved such a creative success, we can only hope they find time for more collaborations like this in the future.

You Make Me Feel is a culmination of the duo's exploits on the magical white island Ibiza. After forming a production partnership last year, Jean Claude and Rony have gone from strength to strength, finding a common bond through the deeper end of house music, merging their ideas and creating high quality, sophisticated sounds. 

Earlier this year they worked together on the exquisite three-track EP, East West 2 released via JCA's Swings imprint 2 and they subsequently spend many nights DJing together at Jean Claude's Be Crazy night in Ibiza. The result of their time spent in Ibiza is the debut release on Be Crazy Music, You Make Me Feel. 

A season in Ibiza has certainly had some influence on the duo's output as can be clearly heard on their latest track. Ibiza's spirit is flowing through the duo and seeping into their productions, now let the spirit of You Make Me Feel flow through you...
