Respekt Reworks is a new remix series where we have asked a mixture of label regulars and newcomers to give us their take on some of the highlights from the Respekt back catalogue.

For Volume 1, we are extremely proud to present one of our producer heroes: Push, taking on Spektre's huge hit "Carnival of Souls". The track already blended elements of Techno and Trance, so Push was the perfect fit for the remix, and boy did he deliver! Taking gated vocal pads, and layering them with classic Push production touches for a fresh take on an old favourite.

The second remix comes from Ignacio Arfeli, with his twist on Gary Burrows' rave anthem "Burning", where he spins the vocal and breakbeat parts into a new structure entirely, with a blissed-out, euphoric organ riff taking centre stage.

We welcome back Turkish techno heavyweights Ferhat Albayrak and Kuvoka for a collaboration on Tronic. "Feel'' is a groovy techno track with old-school house inspirations. Tested many times, and it always rocks the house! We also drafted up-and-coming Hungarian, Aladarus - formerly known as Episode1 - , for a more stripped-back yet powerful remix!
