Anima Sound System

O.Z.O.R.A. Festival’s live music stage, the Dragon Nest started its journey in 2012, the concept has not changed since, gathering and bringing closer artists who would otherwise not fit the music spectrum of the longer-standing stages.
First we just sensed what we know now, that we could not make this program happen anywhere else in the world except here. The surroundings have a great influence on the experience, as do the Ozorians on the performers. No other audience is as open and interested as the one that greets the musicians here, so perhaps this is also the right time and place to let you know how grateful they are.
In the past few years the music program has grown more and more intense, some of the more finely toned concerts have moved to the Chambok House and the ARTibarn. More and more artists pass through and return to other stages, some who started here, some who came from another stage, some showing a special slice of their art here.
In 2016 the spotlight will shift from daytime programs towards the night so we’ll be tuning up later in the afternoons but there’ll be dynamic productions to surprise you well after midnight.
One of the most characteristic representatives of the ROOTS concept will be opening the stage, Lee Scratch Perry, celebrating his 80th birthday in 2016, a legendary musician who was present at and heavily influenced the creation of the dub style and the music of artists such as Bob Marley, whose work was inspiration, the cradle and the roots of a number of 90’s styles.

Om mani padme hum é um dos mantras do budismo; o mantra de seis sílabas do Bodisatva da compaixão: Avalokiteshvara. De origem indiana, de lá foi para o Tibete. O mantra é associado ao deus de 4 braços Shadakshari, uma das formas de Avalokiteshvara.

O Dalai Lama é tido como uma emanação de Chenrezig (Avalokiteshvara), por isso o mantra é especialmente entoado por seus devotos e é comumente esculpido em rochas e escrito em papéis que são inseridos em rodas de oração ("mani korlo" em tibetano) para potencializar seu efeito.

É o mantra mais entoado pelos budistas tibetanos.
