Shiba Sings is a Dub Reggae Fusion duo from Long Beach, the duo consist of multi-instrumentalist/songwriter/producer, Kahlid Woods and vocalist Nayo Mamadi. Originally formed in the spring of 2011 as a five-piece Neo-Soul group, it was their mutual love and adoration for Jamaican, African and Global music that caused a profound shift in the band’s direction.

Their debut EP, Talking Backwards is set for a early 2018 release. The first single, “Killing Minutes (Rockerz Dub Mix)” was released on October, 27, 2017. The single and EP were produced, recorded, mixed and mastered by the group and co-producer/engineer, Jose Franco at his private studio in Long Beach, CA.

Jose Franco is a musician/producer/recording engineer in Long Beach, CA.

Radiolab is a show about curiosity. Hosts Jad Abumrad and Robert Krulwich use state-of-the-art sound design, mind-bending story-telling, and a sense of humor to ask big questions and blur the boundaries between science, philosophy, and human experience. Radiolab is produced in New York at WNYC, and heard on over 300 public radio stations across the country.

A Grammy Nominated, multi-instrumentalist in his own right, Kahlid considers himself to be nothing more than a songwriter, first and foremost. His eclectic approach to the music he’s influenced by as well as the music he creates, makes for a very unique style, covering a wide range of musical genres. 

After having spent several years as a recording artist himself (signed to a Universal Records subsidiary, Gasoline Alley), this Southern California native began writing, programming and producing material for many top Contemporary Jazz and R & B artist:

New single 'Cumulonimbus' out now! 

Pisgah is the solo project of singer-songwriter Brittney Jenkins, a musician who grew up in the American South and has lived in Greater London since 2015. Her inspirations range widely, from the alt-country roots of Ryan Adams and Songs: Ohia, to the wistful alt-rock of Aimee Mann, and even the gothic edge of Emma Ruth Rundle and The Cure. Music has always been central to her life, but she didn’t start writing her own songs until 2015, after teaching herself guitar. Those early songs became the seeds for her debut album Call Louder for Me When You Call, released in 2022. Her songs are reflective and bittersweet, telling stories about natural disasters, family deaths, and personal tragedies over shimmering electric guitar and propulsive percussion. Her follow-up album, Faultlines, will be released independently in November 2025.
