Its rare today that you find talented musicians & singer song writers, jaded have 3 of them. When combined it leads to beautiful chords, bouncy bass lines & hooks that will stay with you long after the party. They we’re introduced into the house scene recently with 2 tracks on Black Butter latest editions of ‘Spread The Love’, as well as remix duties for Wookie. With concrete foundations being laid down early, we expect a very big future for Jaded as they become the latest Londoner’s to join the every growing Get Twisted Records family.

Title track ‘Feelin Jaded’ epitomises what Jaded are all about. A beautifully written hook, a dark bass line built for warehouse’s. In typical jaded fashion you will find lots of unusual noises & live percussion showing Jaded’s extensive musical range & nous.

Wayfarer is a beautiful written track, filled with feeling thought the ambient pads, while the base line will chug all night long. The vocal hooks are subtle, drawing you into a summer track which will stand up equally in a club or terrace.

AVOTRE, the label dedicated to fresh and contemporary club sounds, is proud to present a new album from German Sidney Charles. Collecting together the Hamburg producer’s finest moments along with a selection of brand new tracks, the mix compilation takes in originals, remixes and collaborations with the likes of label boss Santé, Pan-Pot, Hot Since 82, Patrick Topping and many more.

In recent times, German DJ and producer Sidney Charles has become one of the most charted artists on RA thanks to his always killer and infectious tracks on labels like Hot Creations, House Gangster and Moda Black as well as AVOTRE. As well as that, he held down resident duties at Sankeys Ibiza in some style this summer and those peerless DJ experiences clearly inform his groovy, bass driven productions, as this compilation proves.

Entitled House Lessons, that’s just what the mix is, a 360 degree view of modern house music, from the bumpy, vibe setting opener to the bouncy, shuffling garage inflections of ‘Drama’ via the jacking Darius Syrossian remix of ‘Housin Tha Rave.’ Mixed perfectly tightly and always following an increasingly energetic narrative arc, the mix then takes in full on retro rave stabs, slick and sliding tech house from masters of the form Luna City Express and then dips into deeper, more bubbling and New York influenced house music.

Midway through the mix and fully settled into an inviting groove, unhinged and playful originals like ‘Nuts,’ ‘Psyjack’ and ‘Horny’ sandwich raw, though tech from Patrick Topping and face melting bangers from Pan Pot as remixed by Sidney himself. The latter half of the mix keeps up the pressure and features shadowy, no nonsense collaborative tracks by Sante and Sidney as well as dynamic and techno leaning solo gems like ‘Silky Thread’ and the whacked out post-dubstep rhythms of closer ’Disco Nap’.

This mix not only proves Sidney to be a fine DJ who can really tell a story, but it also showcases the breadth and quality of his fine discography to date.

We here at Second State are thrilled to bring you our new concept entitled HUB. While most labels these days are doing various artists releases to showcase the overall talent on their label, we thought it would be better suited for both our listeners and ourselves to break the mold and bring you a series of true collaborations. Each HUB release will feature a single artist teaming up with others from the Second State family to create an EP of authentic musical compromises. A place where multiple minds find a harmony somewhere outside their own identity and each collaboration conceives a genuinely unique artifact. With this, there is no one we would rather have kick off the series than the man behind the massive EPs; 'Throwl' and 'Doch', Stephan Hinz with HUB One!

Second track of the EP is Next is 'Hak' with Philipp Ruhmhardt. Together they have already made waves with their tune, 'Doch' becoming an anthem almost immediately since it's release last May. This time they are back with a stormer that feels like racing through a metropolis at warp speed. Each chord stab is a quick, bright flash of color as the shakers and hi hats impersonate the rapid pulse of a speedometer. 'Hak' is a white knuckle ride.

Crowned ‘Best Newcomer’ at the DJ Awards 2015, Cuartero returns to Hot Creations, following his ‘Dioneli EP’ smash release last year. Fresh on the table, the ‘Disarm EP’ ups the stakes and sheds new light on the talented producer.

Title track ‘Disarm’ was fully formed after days spent exploring his Minimoog, while ‘Mounted’ shows focus in the bassline and underlying swing, embroiled in dark, distorted vocals. Speaking of the final track, Cuartero explains, ‘’It Stops’ is a completely different style of track that adds old radio broadcasting snippets over Detroit stabs.’

Despite being recently named ‘Best Newcomer’, Spanish bred Cuartero has been producing since the tender age of 15 with his first release dropping in 2009. Releases followed on highly acclaimed labels such as Desolat, VIVa MUSIC, Saved, Moon Harbour and Hot Creations, achieving great national and international success with most tracks reaching the Beatport Top 100.

In 2011 he founded his own brand, Sanity, enabling him to start a record label and host parties worldwide with the idea of prioritizing the essence of music over the appearance of top named artists. It was in 2012 things really started to heat up with an abundance of gigs in five continents, numerous top chart positions on, a gig at Amnesia closing and a prized residency at Hyte (Amnesia). Fast forward to the present and the high level of success only continues to soar.

Barely into their twenties, Clouds have rapidly evolved from world-class stadium-wrecking maximalists to serious talents featured in sets by techno heavyweights like Richie Hawtin, Chris Liebing, and Marcel Dettman. Their latest EP finds the Scottish duo absorbing the modern UK dance landscape, showing off their exponentially expanding range and proving they can produce bombs for the biggest rooms in virtually any setting. 

For the remix, we turned to fellow United Kingdomer Truss, who has produced killer techno both as half of Donor/Truss (we're not entirely sure which), and as a solo artist, earning support and hot chart-love from the likes of Perc, Silent Servant, and Tommy Four Seven.
