The heart that longed for God 

There is nothing to fight there is nothing left to figure out
All forms are the same and all trials equal
All pain eternal and all love brief.
Always accessible always there. 
I look at you as me because we have the same potentials. 
The same darkness the same light. 
The same passion the same grace. 
I know you because we share the same fear. 
I know it's because we've felt disconnected. 
We've felt lost and abandoned hopeless and melancholy devoured and defenseless. But it is you whose on the attack and defense. 
As I try to grasp on to these loose straws that fall from my hand staring at the floor trying to gain wisdom through it's divination. 
The plight of man, searching for things to find things we've created. 
It's all real and it's all we've got until it's all gone and back once more. 
The panther may brush by and lose some color but it gains another. 
From the jumbled books under the bed. The patterns on the ceiling the "monsters" in the closet. The fangs of the food the potential of the mother and father the sweet kiss of revenge wiped away as folly I accept you and love you because we are the same. 
There's nothing left to learn there's nothing left to do there's no need to hold on
but all to be thankful for
