Jacob saw the vision of a dream in Bethel,
Moses saw the vision on a mountain, do tell,
David saw the vision of the holy temple,
Ezekiel saw the vision of the house.
 
	Then John.... saw the vision of the New Jerusalem,
	Well, it’s God.... dispensed and God built into men,
	We need a vision so we open to the Lord,
	Seeking revelation in the Holy Word,
	Turning to the spirit for the building of the church,
	The church is the fullness of the One.
	(Ephesians one: twenty three)

Zechariah’s vision was for God’s recovery,
Daniel had a vision of Christ in victory,
Paul and Peter’s vision of the building of the Body
Complete the revelation of the age.

1. Lamb of God—our dear Redeeming One is Christ!
For our sins He paid the highest price
To redeem and to recover us
Who were lost and fallen far from God.
As the Lamb, He had no blemish;
He was meek, even submissive.
How can we like Him obedient be
Unto death, that even of the cross?

CHORUS: I want to follow Him,
Rest from all my wandering,
End all my endeavoring;
Even though I know not where or
How—I know He cares!
I know He’ll never err; I know He’ll lead me well.
I know His voice; this now my choice—
Follow where the Lamb would lead.

2. When He came, though many followed in the way,
Few remained who knew Him and His ways.
Lamb of God—He took  the narrow gate;
The constricted way to life He traced;
Sacrificed, though men denied Him;
Gave His life, though men forsook Him.
How can we t’ward Him still hardened be
When to us He gave all selflessly?

3. Lord we pray, preserve us faithful in the way
All our days, never to fall away.
By Your grace, keep us pursuing You,
Taking up the cross to follow You.
Consecrate we unreservedly,
Absolute for You entirely.
In our hearts, Lord, let the highways be
Unto Zion single-heartedly.

Now here we are, called on to build.
As members of Christ, we are richly filled.
As He increases, we decrease;
The one new man wondrously comes to be.
Our inward being we open wide,
Let the Spirit transform and occupy;
Soak, saturate, with Christ inwrought,
Till from glory to glory we are brought.
 	
Lo, the God of glory
Has appeared and called us
To a glorious calling,
Though we were unworthy.
Lord, now for the building

Laid hold by vision of His house,
We build earnestly, from indiff’rence roused.
Although the world thinks us but fools,
To God, we’re exceedingly precious jewels.
Our eyes behold eternity,
Glorious destiny seen transparently.
Arise! Make haste this age to turn
That the glory longed for may soon return!

 Oh, what glorious vision!
God’s will and intention—
The return of glory
To His house effulgently.
Let this vision seize us,
Measure, judge, possess us,
Till we’re built up; come, dear Lord,
Fill Your house with glory once more!
