A summer edition a "fun" version of Tarrega style but as non guitar version.

Tárrega was born on 21 November 1852, in Villarreal, Province of Castellón, Spain. Tárrega is considered to have laid the foundations for 20th-century classical guitar and for increasing interest in the guitar as a recital instrument.

Tarrega Tango

This piece was inspired by a trip to Salmon River in the Ghost Town of Hyder, Alaska with my son David in 2023.
Every year thousands of salmons migrate the River of their origin for spawning. The journey can take up to a year. After spawning  the salmons  protect their eggs until death which occurs after a few days for most of the salmons. For them the circle of life comes to an end here. For the bears they are food and so you are able watch both salmons and bears if you are lucky. The place is mystical,: the beginning of new life and death at the same place.

When I send a raw edition of this to Carl from ‚The Beautiful Dark‘, he agreed to work on it and wrote some gorgeous lyrics and a vocal line in no time. I am very happy about this collaboration with a great musician and a very nice guy. Hope you enjoy!

Added a since original upload ~ Bass. I was going to call my bass a bitch but I couldn't that. Harley is worth too much (59 euro on Thomann) to insult! Added Electric guitar /  Transistor piano / Cello, Violin and combined String sections 3 seperate runs /

Shout out to Single Use & Recycled. Whilst playing this electric line I'm thinking of them. There is no way I would have tried playing what I tried playing without their direct influence recently. So far I could only dream of expressing on a guitar some of the scaling they can but that highlights for me a few things... Over the decades bands are starting to disappear. Thats an industry driven thing but also a natural bi product of the ability of a band or a huge amount of what a band can do is possible by one person. That sucks for bands but it's very empowering to the individual musician. If you think pre internet, we had hubs of cities and regions where bands were spawned.... SoundCloud is like one big Seattle for me. How I learn everyday from everyones interpretation of music is astounding to me especially given a band was also for me a dream at one point as a boy. In a way even if we aren't directly collaborating it's still like we are all jamming with one another on some level and thats I guess a really positive thing in the light of less actual bands breaking through to mainstream...

I don't think words should ever be taught as bad. Context & frame of reference contain the meaning and intent. Calling words bad and limiting their use is limiting expression in my view. yes we should inspire younger generations to express themselves in more articulate ways but maybe our culture says curses are needed to truly express this reality.
