The anonymous libretto is currently thought to have been written by the English Jewish poet/playwright Moses Mendes. It is based on the biblical stories of the wise king Solomon from the First Book of Kings and the Second Book of Chronicles.

Set to 415Hz, the piece emerges in a delicate soundscape of ethereal pads and reflective piano tones, each breath measured at 45 beats per minute. Here, rhythm is not a pulse but a quiet inhale - gentle, patient, elemental.

As the harmony shifts toward 587Hz, a subtle transformation takes place. The low sun lifts just enough to illuminate solitude’s contours, casting a quiet radiance of uplift and joy. Orchestral percussion enters like distant echoes of sacred rituals - cymbals, bells, and timpani grounding the ephemeral into something tangible.
