Reactivate Classics

The final mix in my tribute series to the Escape From Samsara club night. It was during these early morning hours that everybody really came alive and commandeered the stage, dancing our hearts out to some truly amazing tunes as the lighting went into overdrive and confetti fell from the ceiling.
Hands down the best club atmosphere and unity I've ever experienced... and still miss every weekend.

Franetic asked me to do this classics mix, and as her show is quite trance orientated I thought I'd pick out quite a few uplifting tracks I don't normally play that often in harder sets compared to some other classics you've all heard me hammer but I absolutely love them and thought i'd dig them out. Recorded live at A Cheeky Little Christmas with Timewarp after party, Saturday 14th December 2024 using an ambient recorder in order to try and capture the whole atmosphere, Timewarp are happy to present “The Live Sets”. As with anything live there can be discrepancies in sound and these recordings are no different but they have been mastered in order to try and provide the best audio experience we can. Timewarp is a vinyl only night based in Bournemouth, UK showcasing local talent and legends from the past 30 years bringing you the best in Trance, Hard Trance, Techno and Hard House.

This recording is the 90 minute set from Timewarp resident and South Coast legend Steve Hamlet. From the moment Steve dropped his first track he had the full attention of the crowd who were more than willing passengers on his trip through all things Trance. This really is a top set showcasing Steve’s skills and broad appreciation of the genre.
