He decided to invite her to our series without further ado, as she plays a sound that we rarely have, yet still carries the typical, and above all, original Afterhour Sounds deep down. Für die Ewigwachgebliebenen zum Feierabendbier, für die Frühaufsteher als Seelenfutter zum Wochenbeginn: Montagssorbet mit Laut & Luise. Alles erlaubt, was gut tut und Gedanken kreisen lässt, nur der Name ist Programm: cremig, fluffig und ganz schön weich.

Heute wird es unheimlich, son bisschen zumindest, denn die Dresdener Interessensgruppe erschreckender Ähnlichkeiten, namentlich Uncanny Valley, schickt ihren Hausherren aus und an Luises Häuschen zu klopfen. Törchen auf und Teppich raus für Albrecht Wassersleben (@a-w-1), denn der bleibt lieber gleich auf jenem und liefert im Schneidersitz mit spürbarer Leichtigkeit die nötige Ruhe für fröstelnde Wochentage.

Für die Ewigwachgebliebenen zum Feierabendbier, für die Frühaufsteher als Seelenfutter zum Wochenbeginn: Montagssorbet mit Laut & Luise. Alles erlaubt, was gut tut und Gedanken kreisen lässt, nur der Name ist Programm: cremig, fluffig und ganz schön weich.

Zwischen straff getaktetem Releasetrouble und wild-metaphorischer Wüstenstapferei, schickt sich dieser Montag als allzu angebracht an ein wenig zu verschnaufen (jess). @KeralaDust ist nicht nur gut mit schönen Tönen, eben auch dem guten Ton: Wohl maniert – wie in: gute Manieren – steht die Türe offen zum privaten Wohnzimmerkonzert. Wie die Prinzessin auf dem Sandkorn legen wir uns mal wieder auf den Läufer und lauschen dieser Wüste, der wir eigentlich noch fremd sind.

A portion of our 8 hours set at GRRR mit BRRR which was exactly the GRRR vibe we were hoping for. Unfortunately Soundcloud only allows us to upload 6hr & 45 min max so we chose to share the last 6+ hours of this ride.. kicking off with my new track together with Lee Jones coming out on our new label soon.

Throughout the years, trustless (@trustlessofficial) has evolved into a music-selector with an ear for the special & unknown. With a broad music catalogue and an open mind for various electronic genres, he's build a growing community, which spread throughout the globe since 2014. 
4 years later the community has grown into a Burning Man camp, an intimate festival, a beloved Youtube Channel and an uprising music label with the name of 'Nie Wieder Schlafen' (Never Sleep Again) @niewiederschlafen.

As the label's A&R, trustless has also brought together an incredible roster of truly talented artists, who surprise the underground scene with fresh & unique music. As a producer himself, he recently started a new musical project with Nie Wieder Schlafen's homegrown talent Quatri, which will explore the sound of mysterious & broad atmospheres.

Today he puts on his magical gloves, to show off a collection of dreamful productions, including a few unreleased jams from family-members of Nie Wieder Schlafen as well as beloved music from recent years.

What you're (hopefully) gonna listen to is a set I played from 10:00 to 12:40 at Do Not Sit on the Furniture last Friday.

There were very few people in the club when I started playing, which was perfect to play some of the slow tunes I've been digging lately :) As people started arriving to the club, things started going a little bit crazier :P

One thing is to tell a story to some (very picky) people in SoundCloud, but playing in a club is something completely different. I tried to please the crowd, making sure I only play music I love 100%. The energy was amazing, everyone dancing. I couldn't be happier and grateful :)

Have in mind this was a dj set, in a club, my debut ;) This is not a podcast.

Eyes gazing down into the aqua blue. Ripples dance upon the surface as the sea bubbles with life from below. Creatures of the abyss swim and swirl like ballet dancers through space. Reflections and shadows move in and out of one another, dreams become reality...

For our 8th chapter, Canopy Sounds welcomes German trio, PHCK.

Friends, songwriters, producers, instrumentalists, performers and deep dreamers. Formed in 2014 in the town of Pforzheim, Germany - a stone's throw to the Black Forest - the collective sounds of Paul Hoffer & Chris Kusterer & Stefan Kling have slowly but surely inundated the deep house and downtempo/electronica scenes around the world. Their productions cary a certain amount of raw delicacy that inspires deep reflection and emotion. 

PHCK's sounds have found their way to a  number of notable labels such as last year's "Elephants EP" on All Day I Dream, Connaisseur Recordings, Dilate Records, and most recently, "Natu" on Nie Wieder Schlafen. They were also recently featured alongside Bachir Salloum for their impressive remix of "Reeba" on Dream Culture. Each and every soundscape created is sure to be filled with rich atmospheres of any instrument you might possibly imagine. From swirling pads, to round bass lines, to delicate, pianos, guitars, and the frequently heard handpan. There is sure to be a sonic corner for everyone in the world of PHCK. 

Having been playing shows in Germany for sometime, PHCK recently made their first trek over to the US for their live debut at the Behrouz's renowned musical escape, Do Not Sit On The Furniture. They will make their way to the NYC to play the Bespoke Party with Christain Voldstad on July 6th. Stay tuned and follow PHCK for more musical surprises on the way still this year!

Unfortunately we had a little recording problem so I don't have the complete 5 hours set and a big chunk is missing...

This is our 60th episode, which means it's a very special episode. And we've got our lovely friend, the talented Joséphine De Retour with a killer set. We sure love her colorful personality which translates beautifully into her work. 

The hippie-est of the infamous Deep Like crew, the party series she co-launched almost 5 years ago in Dubai, Joséphine is often seen floating from festival to festival, soundscape to soundscape.
As a stubborn optimistic and music hunter, and always looking forward to the next step, she’s been leading Deep Like’s musical and artistic direction while evolving as a resident, and now cross-borders DJ.
She mixes and matches genres as she pleases, transporting the listeners to hypnotic and groovy journeys, with each attendee following her intricate storylines. 
From Dubai she’s now regularly flying to play in Germany (KaterBlau, Ritter Butzke) Switzerland (Hive Zurich), Turkey, Bahrain, and much more to come.
