In the frosty hillside, my heart escaped the cold  
Left the winter blues behind, as I stood beside the pond 
Looking down to my seaside town
and far into the horizon
Said my thanks to the sea and the sky
I smiled with the setting sun  

See you in the summer time,
we'll walk again at last  
I'll take you to the hillside pond  
And explore the sunny paths 

Now that I am older
The years have come to pass 
But I still remember
When we walked the sunny paths
