Dive headfirst into the hypnotic depths of Joseph Tagliabue’s newborn project, Joves. In "Silver Nymph", the Milan-based artist presents a cutting-edge take on pulsating psychedelic soundscapes. This sonic architecture is built to move both body and mind, where ancient tribal rhythms intertwine with ethereal ambient textures. Imagine a ritual unfolding in the shadows, driven by an undercurrent of otherworldly energy.

The Original and Original Dub versions offer twin journeys into relentless psy territory. Anchored by a powerful, late-night progressive beat, these tracks are designed for the heart of the dance floor. 

On the opposite sonic side, you'll discover the Ambient and Ambient Dub interpretations. Stripped back and sleek, these versions embrace a minimalist approach. Their sinuous, ritualistic rhythm weaves a subtle spell, pulling you into a deep, trance-like state.

Next up in our mix series is Kohra, a producer, DJ, and founder of Qilla Records, now based in the coastal town of Goa. The name "Kohra" (Urdu for fog/mist) captures the essence of his sound - mysterious, shapeshifting, and immersive. With releases on Spacelab, Inner Tension, Mana Abundance, and many more, his music carries a cinematic weight, drifting between the ancient and the astral. Beyond his own work - Qilla Records, founded in 2011 - has become a home for boundary-pushing artists across disciplines, recently marking its 100th release with ‘Chakravyuh’, a compilation featuring over 35 artists from across the globe, reaffirming its commitment to community and experimentation.

In this mix, Kohra offers warmth and hypnosis flowing seamlessly through spacey and rolling trance-tinged techno. It is grounded in bumpy, yet psychedelic basslines with layered textures and fluid transitions that reflect Kohra’s deep understanding of pacing and progression. True to his style, Kohra avoids the obvious in favor of nuance, drawing the listener in with a sound that’s introspective yet expansive.

In October 2014, three friends packed a car with synths and drum machines and headed to a barn in the English countryside. Over two days, Kommune, comprising George Thompson (@black-merlin), Kyle Martin, and Jonathan Nash (@jonnynash), pushed their machines into deep, freeform territory. More than a decade later, these recordings resurface as Oast, an EP released via @secondcircle, the club-minded offshoot of Amsterdam’s @music-from-memory.

Inner Zone returns to space•lab with an immersive EP exploring the meeting point of deep techno and progressive minimalism, shadowy rhythms and spatial resonance. 

Folded Realm opens the release with a hypnotic pulse, drawing from the darker edges of the Inner Zone sound with precision and restraint. Goa’s Kohra steps in on remix duties, transforming the original into a tunnelling techno weapon — dense, focused, and primed for the floor.

Spiral Form is a slow-burn evolution, unfolding in layers of submerged textures and flickering synth work. Closing the EP, Fallout breaks formation with a menacing, breakbeat-driven excursion through scorched sonic terrain.

[HARMONY021]— Harmony marches eastward with its 21st EP, reconnecting with its roots through a collaboration with Kohra and Monophonik. While firmly grounded in the label’s deep-techno foundations, this release leans into a sharper focus on functional, dance oriented grooves and basslines.

A-side is opening with weight and intent, shedding the EP’s melancholic hues for something darker and more forceful. The gently broken spirit of “Uyire” follows, gliding between drones and gated vocals, stitched together by tactile percussion and an underlying volatility.

“Wavefolding Dreams” lives up to its name—wickedly modulated waveforms rise from a slapping bassline that pour like upside-down rain, finally dissolving into soothing, dreamy pads.

“Eastern Timbers” starts B-side with a deep, driving momentum. Trancey basslines and swinging arpeggios ebb and flow with tidal pads, wrapping the EP in a hypnotic finish that pulses with forward energy.

Decompress with “Neuroresonance” situated on the inner ring of the B-side. Suspenseful sliding drones in a wide stereo field and a sustained chord that breathes nostalgia, covered by a playful filter in motion.
