We are two Brothers from Albuquerque New Mexico, Joseph Zamora aka Cope & Matthew Zamora aka Ruin make the group R'ILL Effect.

It's been quite the journey for Joseph Zamora and Matthew Zamora, brothers, to get where they are today. Growing up in poverty, the two brothers often found themselves in and out of trouble, whether it be school, or mischief, it seemed it was always something. Music came naturally, as the family they come from is creative and artistic. Music emerged as a constant source of relief from reality for both of them and they found their true passion was writing and recording songs which, for the most part, held a positive message. They started rapping in 2003. At times they would find themselves in somewhat odd circumstances while recording, as they were still novices and were in desperate need of a sound booth. Eventually they completed the sound booth and studio that they needed and started spending more time recording. Music intervened at a crucial point in their lives; in the midst of chaos, it was a way to focus their energy. At first Joseph recorded alone, while Matthew formed a group with a mutual friend, Josh Martinez. In 2009 the three of them recorded several tracks together and formed the group BKWG but ultimately, due to creative differences, split up. In 2014, Joseph and Matthew reunited to create the group, R'ILL Effect. 

Falling in love with hip hop at an early age. Vokal started a group at the age of 17 with life time friends called Blind Kids With Guns. Deciding to go different ways Vokal left the group and has been creating music from inspirations around him since. Relocating from Albuquerque NM to Juneau AK in the past few years has open the door for him to perceive a different culture of hip hop. Vokal is now currently working on his first solo album.
