Future Garage remix of 'Chase &amp; Status - Time' for the competition. I went down a melancholic route but still opted for some energy &amp; kept it suited to the dancefloor.

Everything is original from the remix with exception of the acapella &amp; the little bleepy sound which I cut up and rearranged.

Forthcoming on a free mixtape called 'Dubleg Bootsteps v.1' - Release date currently unknown.


Chase & Status - Time (Whyrez 'Time is Irrelevant' Remix)

This is my melancholy stripped-back DNB remix of MJ Cole's "Open Arms".

I wanted to really bring out the sadness in the lyrics and vocal delivery and was enjoying working in the 160BPM range with breaks at the time. But the nature of this one wanted me to keep it very minimal and largely stripped back, whilst still giving some energy and craziness to the chorus.

A wise ghost of a witch once spent some time contemplating death. It messed with her brain so much it warped her thoughts into twisted breaks and gnarly bass sounds, overlaid with macabre strings.

Thinking about death

A soulful and Jazz-influenced Future Garage remix of Houseworq's 'Soul Worq'. The remix is based around those lonely late evening feelings walking home through town seeing visible romance auras surrounding couples coming out of the cinema in each others arms or sitting on the train with lads with their girls falling asleep on their shoulder, and wishing you could find the perfect one for you. The vibes of this track actually reminds me of the vibes that France can sometimes give.
