I wrote the original lyrics to this song many years after a rough situation with a guy as I was seeing at the time. Flip over a decade later once I’d established my relationship with Jesus He brought the lyrics back to me, but I knew they didn’t apply the same way they once did! 
I have a whole new meaning of knowing what love is and my own self worth.
It’s a personal experience, and honestly I hope it just blesses somebody out there to know their worth as well. Don’t just settle! Wait on God and allow Him to fill you with what He knows you need!
