This is a long form narrative telling the story of the Gulf War from the perspective of individuals who weren't alive during the events. It is a component of a larger art project inspired by the artists experience of hearing veterans of the Gulf War recount their experiences. The narrative is told through a series of audio excerpts taken form news archives, presidential addresses, military radio chatter, and recordings from the 557th's video archive. This is a reflection on the way in which we experience events in the past via what was recorded during the event and how that informs our understanding of history.
