When I first listened to Lisha's this work, I was completely fascinated by it. I think the vocals, lyrics, composition, and performance are all excellent, and the balance between them is wonderful.When I suddenly returned to myself, I was holding my Les Paul, and have started recording with it.

The original work released by Lisha can be thought of as a completed "acoustic version".If I think the purpose of adding and releasing my guitar playing to it is to promote and disseminate the existence of that wonderful "acoustic version".

＊If you are practicing playing the guitar, please use it to master the performance of "C # m Pentatonic Scale".I think there are several ways to practice playing the guitar with this song, this time I mainly played and recorded it using the "C # m pentatonic scale".

If the foundation is neglected, there will be no future development. Those who neglect their proficiency in the pentatonic scale and act as if they have mastered not only the pentatonic scale but also the blues scale will most hope that listeners will misunderstand that their guitar playing is good. .. It's a very dangerous adventure.

I eagerly want anyone to get out of that dangerous situation as soon as possible.Any guitar player who hasn't mastered it can't get out of the "beginner". I think.

If you know that it is used in the following representative songs, everyone who has not used it before will surely say "Oh, is that a pentatonic scale?"

The Beatles --Let It Be
This song has different solo performances on the single version and the album version, but it is a guitar solo called "A minor(C major) pentatonic scale textbook" from the time it was released.

Led Zeppelin --Stairway to Heaven
Even in this song, a guitar solo will appear at the end of the song. This is a solo performance using the "A minor Pentatonic Scale", which is a little more difficult than the above.

Eagles --Hotel California
A very famous guitar solo will be developed at the end of this song as well. Since it is a twin lead, it is a more difficult solo performance. The "B minor pentatonic scale" is used.

The guitar playing that I layered on the original sound source is very simple. Some may say it's too simple.However, it doesn't make any sense to crush the sound of vocals and other instruments to make only the sound of the guitar.

There is no guitar solo in this attempt, and I didn't play the chords and tried to accompaniment phrases. This is because it is meaningless unless the listener can easily listen to vocals and other performances. Therefore, I think it is easier to practice the scale using the guitar.

There are quite a few artists I would like to collaborate with someday. Lisha has long been one of the representatives, and I have long waited for the opportunity to come. Recently, I have actually had the opportunity to dramatically improve the collaborative environment. Even with an already completed sound source, it is impossible to completely separate it for each instrument, but now it is possible to separate files into several major parts. 

In this work, even if the volume is set a little louder to maintain the sound quality of the guitar, the vocals are cut out from other parts, so the volume and sound quality of the vocals could be sufficiently maintained. That is one of the major backgrounds that made it possible to release this recording
(I've uploaded a version here that matches the genuine Apple earphones for the iPhone, so  it's a good idea to set up an equalizer for your listening environment).

This is a song by one of my favorite bands that, believe it or not, Chris suggested we do. I really feel like we're kindred musical spirits. His playing on this and his voice are excellent as always. He's on acoustic guitar and the high vocals on this one. He also mixed, produced, and arranged the song. You'll hear me on the bass, synth, slide, mandolin, and auxiliary guitar, as well as singing the two low parts. We decided to do a string of covers back in the summer. This recording is a completed work of Wild Christopher's work "Jolene (Ever Find Your Forever Man)" with my guitar playing. "Jolene" is based on "Let Me Know", one of the "Paploviante Open Collab" pieces.
I received warm compliments and words of welcome from both of them. I am very grateful.I would like to thank them from the bottom of my heart for including me in their wonderful work.

This work is over 6 minutes long. My guitar playing starts with a low volume and rhythm. About a third of the way through, my guitar starts playing to complement Christopher's great singing.

A few days after the release, he received a number of really excellent works. I was really surprised by the ability of the artists to finish such amazing works in such a short period of time.

After listening to the above works, I realized immediately. Simplifying the scales that form the melody, assuming the case of playing the guitar, it was divided into the case of  Cm/E pentatonic, and the case of  Cm/E and Em/G pentatonic. I thought, ``This is a great exercise for me. For example, putting four songs together on one track, listening to them all in order, and playing the guitar along with each scale is a very useful daily practice. I could imagine that this would be useful not only for myself, but also for most people who are learning to play the guitar.

For example, alternately play the following:
1)Cm/E　Pentatonic scale(Key = E)
2) Cm/E, Em/G Pentatonic scale(Chord = A7,E7)
2) '  Am/C,Cm/E,(Em/G) Pentatonic scale

It's easy to envision it that way, but first, what do I do with the first one? So I started playing guitar while listening to Wild Christopher's "Jolene".
I found it possible to use two chords, A and E7, and finish off with some rock'n'roll backing, but it's too simplistic a way to spice up Christopher's cool and passionate vocals. 

So I took the plunge and tried using the A7 and E7 chords to make a blues rock song. And I was convinced that depending on the way I played, I could proceed without discomfort. An image of the rough blues rock of the early 1970s came to mind. However, I was conscious of keeping the taste of the country blues that was popular before that.

I thought that Wild Christopher's wonderful singing voice would suit slightly rough guitar playing based on precise rhythm composition. A playing style that many great guitarists and predecessors have developed over the decades. I hope that people who come across this piece will want to listen to it again and again :))

This is a song that has been a long time coming. Ken (K2 and the Three [and the Four]) and I have been big fans of Artur (Surfers Like Us) for going on a year now, because of his unique, refined, genre-specific songwriting and excellent playing. We've both been bugging him almost that entire time to share one of his songs with us. So, he finally agreed. This is the result. 
  I posted it and Ken, who added the perfect drums and percussion, was already on board. Then we invited JJ for some dynamic, soulful organ. We then asked Tez to add a lead and mix it for us. He added a killer, tasteful lead, and performed the heroic task of mixing it to all of our liking. I'm on my four string fretless for this one. I wish we could've squeezed Stephen (TexMex Shaman) into this one, but he'll definitely be on the next. We all hope you enjoy it!

This is a song that originated with Steve of Steve's Planet. He came up with a really cool guitar instrumental and the vocals, which he is very passionately singing,  while travelling through the primordial forests of Central Europe and shared it with all of us. I added the bass and the electric piano. Tez (Llanpsych) added the really cool guitar parts that sound like orchestral violins. Ken (K2 and the Three, and K2 and the Four) added the perfectly complimentary rolling drums. Stephen (TexMex Shaman) added the awesome, trippy sitar and pulled the whole thing together as an expert producer and mixer. Tez also mastered it. This is a real real " Pick me up Song " :-) The song is a  follow on song to "The Road" & " Ordinary guy. A song of Hope & friendship with a little sprinkling of Spirituality thrown in.  We all need someone to help us when we are down or Lost and in this song the " Pick up truck " symbolizes a friend or a spiritual belief. This is a song that was written by the very talented Artur (Surfers Like Us), who is a surf rock master, and delivered to us in the form of a guitar track. I enjoyed adding the psychedelic, yet foundational four string fretless bass. Ken (K2 and the Three and K2 and the Four) boosted the energy level of the song when he blew our minds with his driving drums. JJ (J.J. Terrell) added the wild, dynamic organ you hear throughout. Tez (Llanpsych) brought lightning down from the sky in the solo over the third section. And last, but certainly not least, Stephen (TexMex Shaman) laid down the mind-bending guitar solos over the first two sections. He also produced and mixed it, with a little help from Ken. We hope you enjoy listening to it as much as our Eclectic Collective enjoyed making it.

He sent it to me, who added the fretless bass and some delay-heavy electric guitar. After that, Mark added the catchy, powerful drums and made a couple of key editorial changes. Then we got Tez involved, who added not only the screaming guitar parts in the meat of the song, but also the entire coda at the end. Tez also produced and mixed this for us, expertly. Welcome to my page, my peers, associates, friends, and musical family. I'm a lifelong, multi-instrumentalist musician who records prolifically and joyfully. You'll hear me play guitar, bass (regular four string, and four and five string fretless), mandolin, banjo, keys (piano, organ, synth), lap slide, sitar, and sing on my recordings here. I've been in a few dozen bands in my life, playing everything from bluegrass, jazz, rock, jam band, reggae, funk, afrobeat, Middle Eastern, traditional Irish, singer/songwriter, pop/covers, to experimental/avant garde. 
  Since I found SoundCloud a couple years ago, I've found many talented, creative people with whom to create music. However, in the summer of '23 I formed a band called The Eclectic Collective with some of my favorite musicians I've met through here. It started as a loose collective of musicians and coalesced into a core group of musicians who find other musicians with whom we'd like to make music, then run their songs through our process, and in effect add a full band. That core of The Eclectic Collective includes Tez (Llanpsych), J.J. Terrel, Ken (K2 and the Three), Stephen (Texmex Shaman), Chris (cgmaness), and Mark (mistermark). A couple of other musicians are frequent collaborators, as well, including Artur of Surfers Like Us, and Steve Vervaet of Steve's World. More recently, we've been joined by Carl of The Beautiful Dark fame. 
  The magic of music is amplified exponentially by each person adding to it. So, we really try to add our sorcery all kinds of music from all kinds of artists. Sometimes, we keep it within the group, but a lot of what we do is collaboration with other artists. Therefore these days, 100% of what I do is collaboration, within the group or with other artists on the side.
  I, and we, are also available for hire if you have a song or lyrics and you really want to add bigger instrumentation or a band and good production to it. 
  A small sampling of the artists whom I consider primary influences, and whom you will hear coming through my fingers include Phish, The Flaming Lips, The Grateful Dead, Radiohead, Rye Cooder, Steve Earle, Miles Davis, Fela Kuti, Arcade Fire, Mikey Dread, Yellowman, Purpleman, The Meditations, Michigan and Smiley, Lee Perry, Dillinger, Django Reinhardt, Impossible Recording Machine, The Allman Bros Band, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Cream, Bela Fleck, Les Claypool, Sam Bush, David Grissman, John Prine, Talking Heads, Beastie Boys, MMW, Moe., Morphine, Ween, Steve Lukather, Michael McDonald, John Abercrombie, Dave Holland, John Scofield, Victor Wooten,  Cannonball Adderly, Thelonious Monk, Flea, Parliament Funkadelic,  Frank Zappa, Prince Paul, Pete Rock, Thievery Corporation, Amon Tobin, Chet Baker, Joao Gilberto, Stan Getz, Astrud Gilberto, Carol Kaye, Tame Impala, Mumford and Sons, Japanese Breakfast, LCD Soundsystem, Beach House, Sean Lennon, and Billy Strings, but of course there are many more. I also really like and am influenced by traditional Iranian, Palestinian, Indian, Sri Lankan, Sudanese, Mauritian, Somalian, Egyptian, West African, and Syrian music. I welcome anyone who plays non-western music to contact me for a collaboration, too.
 I'm overjoyed to have found my community on SoundCloud. This is a truly unique forum where everyone is sincerely trying to build each other up. The profoundly supportive and positive SoundCloud community has really opened up an exciting new world of collaboration for me. That is the main reason I'm in the Cloud, actually, to connect with other musicians and make music that I enjoy listening to, and hopefully others do, as well. I am ALWAYS looking to collaborate with interesting musicians, mostly though BandLab, which is where I record almost exclusively. It's a solid, free digital audio workstation hub where you can share recording projects, even if it's not where you make your recordings.
  Everything I do is live instrumental, not programmed, and using no computer beyond my phone. That's not to say that I would be opposed to using that kind of tool, it's just not my preferred medium with which to paint. If you like my music, please share it.
