One of the most exciting up and coming artists of recent times, Detlef makes his debut on the mighty Hot Creations with his ‘Kinky Tail EP’ featuring three jacking bombs plotting a riot on the dance floor.

In a short space of time Detlef shot into the limelight with releases and remixes for well-respected labels including Knee Deep In Sound, Moon Harbour, and Defected. Equally at home behind the decks as he is in the studio, the unique party vibe that he brings to his live and DJ sets quickly earned his place as a regular VIVa Warriors resident.

Often billed on the same line-up with industry giants and with releases and remixes forthcoming on Edible Records, Hot Trax, Emerald City and Moon Harbour, Detlef is definitely one to keep an eye on.

Lost Records founders Leftwing & Kody make their long awaited debut on Solid Grooves Records this June, with two summer cuts that are destined to make an impact.

Having released on the likes of Truesoul, Relief, Knee Deep In Sound and their own Lost Records imprint, UK duo Leftwing & Kody have firmly cemented themselves at the forefront of the scene over the past five years. Following a teaser of 'Sound Boy' which dropped online via Solid Grooves earlier in the year, amassing 60,000 plays in the process, the duo finally unveil their debut offering on the label with two productions that are sure to feature across both terraces and festival stages all summer long.

Title cut 'Sound Boy' opens things up and draws on an infamous vocal sample taken from a certain Garage classic, whilst whirring sirens, tough percussion licks and infectious snares combine to reveal a production geared for the peaktime. On the flip 'Who Can Draw' keeps the energy high, whilst metallic drum shots, thundering kicks and rumbling low ends all combine to shape up yet another impressive EP from the Solid Grooves team.

Toolroom’s Dateless joins up with Jamie Jones’ Hottrax this November with three upbeat cuts entitled ‘Shoes On EP’ including a remix from Hot Creations’ Bontan.

In recent years Dateless has steadily emerged onto the house music scene with sought-after releases on Food Music, Dirtybird, Riva Starr’s Snatch! and many more. He’s garnered support from the likes of BBC Radio 1 DJs Danny Howard and Annie Nightingale, as well as appearing on line-ups with Green Velvet, Claude VonStroke and Shiba San. He now joins the Hottrax family with his ‘Shoes On EP’ following the likes of Kevin Knapp, Patrick Topping, Waze & Odyssey and label boss Jamie Jones. UK based artist Bontan puts his signature sound to an engaging remix after previous outings on Crosstown Rebels and Circus Recordings.

‘Shoes On Please’ provides dashing kick drums with fluid basslines bouncing off layered elegantly with an attractive vocal line undulating throughout. Bontan’s remix of ‘Shoes On Please’ offers delightful atmospheres with emotive synth melodies, fluid percussion and enchanting breakdowns. ‘Who Are We’ then finishes things off with playful, tribal drums balanced with dazzling rhythmic stabs and euphonious flutters.
