Rising from the ashes of Dublin Ireland's gradually growing electronic music scene, the award-winning DJ/Producer Josh Coakley is one of the most underrated DJs on the international circuit now and one of those selectors blessed with the ability to really tell a story. With productions signed to some of the best and biggest labels in the world he is never afraid to take a risk behind the decks and you're likely to hear him smash through some vintage old skool rave tracks along with the best in house and techno. 

The success for this extremely talented Irish DJ and producer continues to evolve week after week. With current and upcoming releases on some of the world's biggest and most renowned record labels, you can expect nothing less than pure evolving greatness from a very humble yet very passionate and skilled young individual.

Also on the performance scale, he keeps on expanding his horizon playing in major venues throughout the world performing in the biggest clubs and festivals these countries offer. With all this happening for Josh, it did not take long before local, national and international papers and magazines picked up on his success. He has received praise from the best article writers and bloggers in his home country of Ireland and overseas including winning best male act in the 2017 Pure M Awards and was nominated again for the award in 2018. 

He is extremely versatile in what he plays and creates and loves experimenting with sounds and loops and pushes boundaries with his music and performances.

BPM Played at The Notorious 'Escape In The Park 2023' (Escape Festival), which is Arguably Wales's Biggest Rave Festival. Being on the Same Line Up as Some Of The Biggest Names In The Industry Like Judge Jules, Ben Hemsley, Marco Carola, David Rust.

His Musical Journey has only just started. With House & Techno Being His Favourite. You Can Expect Him To Mix & Produce The Likes Of House, Techno, Hard Techno, Hard Trance, Tech House, Trance. To Name A Few.

BPM UK's Sound is heavily influenced from being brought up with Sound from the Start of the 20th Century, through to the 50's, 60's, 70's, especially 80's & 90's tunes around the house growing up from his Mother, Nan & Sisters. With the likes of Bob Marley, The Bay City Rollers, AC/DC, ABBA, Eminem & plenty of others to his More Modern Musical Influences like Alan Fitzpatrick, Fatboy Slim, Carl Cox, Eats Everything, FJAAK, Faithless, Scooter, Avicii, Skrillex (the list goes on forever). 

From being born in 2000. He carefully Curates his sets with a blend of old & new. With a Love for all Music. But for them Old Skool Housey loop's to the Groovy Basslines & Shuffling Percussion. Hard Hitting Base, Carnival Drums, Bongos & Breakbeats especially. To the Dark Energy Sounds of Techno, 90's Rave Synths & Acid loops to the Unmatched Euphoricness of Trance. He try's to influence his sets as a mixture of Old & New but keeping you feeling alive on the dancefloor. To show Music has No Boundaries on when it was made &/or who listens.
