In the cold and wintry weather,
still hear his song:
"Somebody must sing
Or winter will seem long."

When the spring came back again,
He sang, "I told you so!
Keep on singing through the winter,
It will always go."

Largely written in response to the events of 2020, "As an Iceberg on the Sea" is inspired by the tumultuous times through which we are living, the damage humans are doing to the environment and to each other, and the underlying hope that someday we will make sense of all this and begin to move forward toward a better, brighter future.
