Baritone Joshua Alan Lindsay is a native of Nashville, TN. He received his Masters of Music in Vocal Performance in 2016 from Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, TN. His undergraduate work was in composition and he continues to compose art song and chamber works. He is a strong advocate for new music and has happily lent his voice to other composers to help premiere their works. Lindsay is quite comfortable on stage and has also performed in theatre productions, most recently performing the roles of Donald in The Boys in the Band and Algernon in The Importance of Being Earnest.

I've been playing the piano since I was five and started composing my own music at age eight.  I am classically trained with twelve years of experience from Stubbs Music Center, and I got the wonderful opportunity to work with one of the best music teachers.  I spent the last four years writing down my music scores for some of my pieces. Music is my life and I couldn't imagine not being able to express my feelings through it.
