Pernicious: who is a Ukrainian-American song writer, producer, and a rapper. Is know for his catchy hooks and dark melodies. 
After his adoption from Ukraine at a young age and immigration to the US, his interest in music had grew. The influence of European Club and Techno music, with American Hip-Hop had made an imprint on Pernicious’s. sound and style. 
Pernicious, who was known by his old monicker (-) had reinvented his musical path and image, while releasing his hit single “Take My Life” under his re-invented persona as Pernicious. 
2022 has proven to be Pernicious’s most successful year as he has come back to rock the world, and bring his influence into the industry. 
In the last quarter of 2022 He had released several critically acclaimed tracks which include “Antidote (feat. @Michael Mayo)” “Leave This Town (feat. @EQUINOX)” His biggest and most successful body of work to date. Distinguishing feature of Pernicious.Music is that he makes music in English while being an Russian-Ukrainian native speaker, Pernicious. is a fresh trend in Ukrainian club culture with a native western sound. Ammo the Don, aka Trap G’zus is a hip-hop artist with deep musical roots. Growing up, there was always music playing in his house and Ammo started playing the piano at age 5, but by 9 years old he was playing Wu-Tang’s C.R.E.A.M. instead of practicing Chopin. GDM Entertainment was established in 2006 and was an answer to the lack of support and exposure that he recognized for artists in Connecticut. Even though he had been interested in rap and hip-hop since the age of 9, he did not have any guidance or resources to help him to make a path for his dreams. Lack of finances and lack of resources lead him to turn to the streets as a way to make money. Boat People International represents the pride and spirit of Ammo’s heritage. “Growing up, they used to call Haitians “boat people” and say we came to this country on rafts and inner tubes, but as far as I knew, all my family got here on planes. I took that as a challenge, Ok, I’ll show you what boat people can do….Boat People also represents the slave ships that brought the slaves over. One of the boats heavily used in the slave trade was called the “Jesus”. Our boat, the “Trap G’zus” is made to represent a return to consciousness and freedom from the many bondages that we as a people are burdened.”
