j.cxleb is a 20-year-old vocalist and songwriter from Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, whose sound blends raw emotional honesty with an unwavering spiritual core. Making his first vocal debut on ALICKSATPLAY!’s “DEPENDS ON YOU – Interlude” from his collaborative project “CITY ON FIRE”, j.cxleb immediately stood out for his soulful tone and vulnerability. That first appearance marked the spark of a larger journey — one that quickly evolved from a guest feature into a pursuit of his own sonic identity.

With encouragement and mentorship from his real-life cousin, ALICKSATPLAY!, j.cxleb was officially brought into the fold under FIVETWONINE through XMGRLX™ Music — both imprints run by ALICKSATPLAY! himself. That partnership led to the creation and release of ICARUS, their first full-length collaborative album.

His lyrics are often introspective yet universal, speaking directly to the human condition while never shying away from his faith in Jesus Christ as a cornerstone of his identity. His release of ICARUS marks only the beginning of j.cxleb’s musical path, but it’s already clear that his voice carries weight — emotionally, spiritually, and artistically. With more to come, j.cxleb is setting the foundation to be one of the most honest and resonant voices to rise from Canada’s underground.
