A true enigma amongst his peers AND outsiders. Born and raised in North Vallejo, Joshua was exposed to the many ills common in lower-class neighborhoods. Police brutality, FatherLESSness, having little to NO faith in living a "successful" life (by society's standards).
        
Born to a culture-conscious mother and a father who who was constantly in and out of prisons and jails, He formed His own perspective. Self-proclaiming to be "Pro-Black" and "Pro-people" encouraged Joshua to think creatively and ultimately form the Mindset/Movement he calls the Free Team.

Early Life(discovery of Love for Music)-
Gravitating towards Music, Books and writing as early as age eight, Joshua found the Power of Words to be one of Life's most fascinating gifts. "In a place filled with constant hate and tension, for one song to come on and UNITE EVERYONE and offer a moment of peace and harmony, is the Most Beautiful thing in This Life," says Joshua about a situation during His incarceration. Josh took to writing poems in elementary school. Stringing together rhymes and gaining a rush from listener's reactions. From there, it became a hobby to WOW friends and crowds with his poems and rhymes. Through Grade school Josh kept his friends in awe with witty freestyles and remixes he made to popular beats. His peers pestered him to get in the studio and record, but it was the "Fast Life ILLUSION" that continuously caused Josh to push His True Talent aside, and chase after wind.

Struggle, Trouble & A Planted Seed-
Failing at selling crack and weed with his fiends(lol), and even failing multiple times to keep his girl's attention Was Josh's story ALL through His teen's. He states it was a "SPIRIT of ADDICTION" that caused him to be a follower of trends as well as a drug user, rather than EMBRACE HIS BLESSING and Shine as the Creative Intellectual he's ALWAYS been. In 2010, a year after Joshua's last year in High School, Which He ALSO failed(smh), Joshua fell into his first bit of legal trouble.  Arrested on assault charges, against His then girlfriend now estranged Mother of His Son, Joshua saw firsthand the ills and oppressive nature of America's "justice" system.  "You can literally be Thrown and Locked away in a place where You Are NO MORE THAN A NUMBER. " He observes.
Upon being released up until the present day Joshua is making efforts at multiple square jobs as a delivery driver and an technicians apprentice. Supporting Himself and his son is priority while in his rarely found downtime continuing to write lyrics hooks and songs.  

Fuck Joes Crab Shack is an effort Joshua created from True experiences. It is first effort as a free man and from his perspective, HIS BEST.
