Waterfalls

I've been trying to write this song for months. I moved and shifted the melodies around, trying to fit them into pieces they really didn't belong. I arrived here, at a simple piano and cello duet. No mass string orchestra, no rock band style. I think it shows better this way. I have never been suicidal, please don't fret over something like that, this piece is just emotional. When I wrote this, it was about my feelings in the moment, today, it's about me looking back. Life is a constant pendulum swinging from highs to lows, and back again. There were times where I felt my string had snapped, I was at the lowest of low points. I was at the edge of my breaking point, and I couldn't allow myself to sink so low. This song is all about those moments, where it seemed my reality would crash down on top of me. Thanks so much for listening, it means the world to me.

At The Edge

For years, the people of Ausea have feared the rising power of their King, David. He is a powerful wizard, and when he took the throne he was generous, and willing to understand the voice of the people. As time went on, he has become more corrupt, more demanding and ruthless of the people he controls. In the small town of Creed, a young boy named Enzo has been quietly making a name for himself as a young wizard. Taught by his grandfather Astrid, the boy has become increasingly better at understanding this power. At just 10 years of age, he won his first duel with another wizard. The last person to do this was King Dave himself. It was a moonlight night when the king ordered his militia to burn the neighboring village, Grund, to the ground. Right then and there, Astrid realized the decision he must make, someone needed to defeat the king, for the good of the world. Was he willing to risk his own grandson’s life that way? Enzo seemed ready to take the world by storm and save the kingdom he loved, but he would be no match for a wizard like David.

So this song wasn't really made by me, but by Madison Salsbury. It was originally a piano only piece, but it entranced me and I couldn't help myself, and put in an orchestra(and then percussion). It turned into one of the most amazing songs I feel I have ever written.

The Shooter

My first experiment with DAW, specifically Ableton. Made in flat, moved the MIDI to Ableton, did some messing around there, added a few things, and boom here we are. Hope you enjoy :)

Hello! Freyja here. One day, I joined the VC in the Flat discord server to find a giddy Groovy rambling on about something in "b minor". And I never knew that moment would change the course of history forever. But first, you require some context to truly understand this revolutionary discovery.

Groovy and I (and a couple others) had recently been spending most of our "vibe time" vibing to a certain song, about a man who lived in Russia long ago - "Rasputin" by Boney M, the catchiest song of all time (fight me). We had grown obsessed, and "Rasputin" became one of many musical inside jokes of ours. However, there was a challenger to the title of "catchiest song"...You know the rules, and so do I..."Never Gonna Give You Up" by Rick Astley.

But...On that fateful day...Groovy made a revolutionary discovery. Both Rasputin - and Rick - were in the SAME KEY.

B Minor.

The rest is history. In about two hours of voice chatting and working, this hell of a mashup came to existence. On behalf of Groovy and I, I present to you...Ra Ra Rickroll :wink:
