Mr. Garrett Jr (Born September 8th) Musically and Professionally known as Garrettboy Lg or GbL Teddy, is an independent artist and songwriter from Nashville, Tennessee. His love for music began at a young age, following in the footsteps of his late brother, Stephen "Jay-Dubb" Washington (April 30, 1984 – December 10, 2008). Music became his sanctuary, a way to channel his emotions and experiences into something powerful and meaningful.

Garrettboy’s journey has been shaped by both triumph and loss, with the passing of his close groupmates, Kendrick "Big Ken" Johnson (2008) and Terrell "Teddy G" Madison (2021), adding to the depth and pain reflected in his music.
