For 20 years I would only sing these songs in sacred ceremonies or sacred music festivals, but the times are changing, and I feel the call to share them with the world, just I have been doing with my instrumental music for all these years. 

These songs are intimate messages and prayers that I have received in the deepest folds of my heart. They’ve guided my steps through the transformative years I have been walking on a spiritual path and a medicine path.

The track opens with the gentle crackle of vinyl, immediately setting a nostalgic and intimate mood. A slow, muffled beat begins to pulse softly, like footsteps echoing through empty city streets after sundown. A mellow bassline rolls beneath, steady yet unobtrusive, grounding the track in warmth. Layered above it, faint synth pads swell in hazy shades of purple and blue, mimicking neon lights reflected in rain-soaked pavement.

Throughout the piece, a lo-fi piano drifts in and out, its slightly detuned chords carrying a bittersweet weight, like fragments of a memory slipping away. The sound is raw and unpolished, yet deeply human, giving the impression of a solitary moment in a dimly lit apartment overlooking a quiet city. Occasionally, a distant train bell or the echo of passing voices fades into the mix, blurring the line between music and environment.

The rhythm never rushes; it lingers, patient and melancholic, inviting the listener to breathe slowly and sink into its atmosphere. The rising smoke of a cigarette seems almost audible, curling upward in time with the gentle hi-hat patterns. This is a soundtrack for reflection, for solitude, for those evenings when the city feels endless and memories weigh heavy yet comforting.
