It is beyond doubt that this guy right here is one that is blessed and anointed with the gift of music and now he's ready to share his song with the world. 

Kwabena is a young praise and worship leader and gospel artist in Toronto, a place in which he's lived in his whole life. He comes from a family of ministers and pastors. His father is a known local preacher staple within the Ghana Methodist movement in North America and Ghana and his uncle, Rev. Nana Amoakohene is the pastor of Trinity Baptist Church in Toronto. Kwabena doesn't have the usual musical background where he was born with a microphone or drum sticks in his hand. Rather, at the of 10, the young boy and those around him began to notice his natural knack for rhythm and melody. Those in his home church, Ghana Calvary Methodist United Church Toronto, had noticed as well and quickly merged him into the praise and worship team. He then began to receive training from the well respected Ekwam Bilson. His progression on the keyboard was second nature. However, it wasn't until the age of 14 when he realized his vocal gift and ability to usher a congregation in to God's presence. 

To Kwabena, it's more than the music. Rather, it's about using what God has gifted him with to win back young souls for the Kingdom. Today he is locally known for his vulnerable worship and endless work ethic towards ministry and making the name of Jesus famous. In the new year, expect his debut Praise & Worship EP as well as the first installment of the annual 'The Young Worship' night.
