Maybe We Might

Phnom Penh's anthem to love and living in the city performed here by Joshua Chiang and Scott Bywater on vocals and guitars, and me on cajon. The song, sung at the Alley Cat cafe's Sundowner sessions last Sunday (July 6), was a "surprise" masterminded by Chiang as a farewell song for Chino Nogales, who leaves today for Azerbaijan, after living in the city for more than 5 years. Chino is frontman of the city's well-loved latino rock band Bacano.  

Written by Jerby Santo, this  song was popularized by Jaworski 7, a mostly all-Filipino band formed in Phnom Penh in 2012. They disbanded as well in 2014 when Santo moved back to the Philippines.
