Progressive Dance 05 - Accession (Joshua Stephen @ Java for Max Styler)

Bringing house and techno to the Midwest through multiple avenues, but most importantly, through music. My passion lies with the melodic and progressive styles of both genres, but have a general love for all things 4/4. 

I picked up DJing in February of 2024 and have been rolling since. In that time I have opened for KREAM, landed opening slots for other regional acts (including Max Styler and John Summit), and launched a radio show. Some of the collectives I have worked with in St. Louis are Umbrella Underground, Nightchaser, and B&W Productions. 

This journey has been nothing but amazing so far. Stoked to see where the road ahead takes us next.

A 33-year-old producer who’s passionate about crafting diverse techno sounds, from melodic and progressive to industrial and acid. With over five years of experience behind the decks and a strong foundation in mixing, he has spent the past eight years experimenting with music production, gradually diving deeper into the craft. Over the last year, he has fully immersed myself in production, honing my skills and refining his sound. While still in the early stages of my production journey, my love for techno and commitment to pushing boundaries is clear in every track he creates. Always eager to explore new techniques and influences, he am excited to continue growing and sharing his music with the world.
