Loose Records is proud to introduce a new talent...New York City based DJ & producer Ace Alvarez has become one of the more recognizable names in electronic music within the last decade. Priding himself on creating a unique musical experience with an intense and relentless vibe, which can only be just that - experienced.
Growing up in Queens, New York, Ace Alvarez was inherently surrounded by diverse genres of music; from the latin vibes that were an integral part of his Argentine family’s lifestyle to the mainstream hip hop that populated the local airwaves. The eclectic grooves infused creativity in young Ace, and would serve as the musical foundation that would culminate in the aspiring DJ/Producer he is today.
Ace found himself immersed in the NYC club scene at the height of the “Golden Era” of dance, and he frequented nostalgic mainstays the likes of Tunnel, Exit, Discotheque, Sound Factory, Crobar, and Twilo. These experiences, albeit lots of fun, nurtured his young musical palate, and fostered a perpetual hunger to learn more about the different sounds and cultures of music.
Since 2009, Ace has tempered his skills via his live performances at numerous hot spots throughout the tri-state area (NY/NJ/CT), including one of the most relevant clubs in all of north America at the moment, Output in Brooklyn, newest mega club, Space Ibiza NY, as well as legendary clubs such as Cielo and the world-renowned Pacha NYC. He held residency at the infamous Liquid Vibe for over a year until it’s closing, System and numerous other places.
Although he’s been known to play alongside more distinguished individuals in major venues, his unique style and energetic sets have also created a buzz in the local after-hours house scene. His impeccable rhythm serves as a catalyst in creating a distinctive techno sound that resonates to the feel of the respective crowd.

At the heart of Lady Tazz’s mission is Mind Medizin, her label and event series that champions the sound of kindred spirits, now inviting Radio Slave to the mix this June.
Lady Tazz has overcome many cultural obstacles to achieve her rightful place as one of Toronto’s foremost electronic dance exports. A renegade of sorts, as a teenager she would regularly visit the UK and Germany without her parents’ knowledge to attend London’s Sound Academy and to party in Berlin, whilst continuing to pursue her aspirations of becoming a DJ.

The Bangladeshi producer and DJ is proud of her heritage, but is realistic about the social expectations of throwing raves in her hometown. She moved to Toronto in her teenage years, where she grew up, educating herself on music and a place that has perfected a sound that remains organic and raw. Her record label and party series, Mind Medizin galanty taps into an erotic lifestyle that embraces the unconventional and free spirited – which inspires and motivates Lady Tazz on numerous artistic levels.
For Mind Medzin’s first release of 2025, Lady Tazz will release ‘Sleaze’ on the 27th June, to include a special remix from Rekids founder and UK godfather, Radio Slave. Making his debut on her label.

Foreboding and dripping with lascivious intent, ‘Sleaze’ brazenly stalks into existence by way of warping synth fills and glitching hi-hats. The lyrical component consists of a series of smouldering vocal hooks which salaciously enrapture ones’ senses tightly wrapping around the creeping melody before succumbing to the beat’s stomping dominance.
On the flipside, Radio Slave’s remix revs and fires with shots of ringing overtones atop a deep thud, husky vocal and swooshing cymbals. Whilst upping the ante of the original, its stripped back charm remains culminating in moody, chugging rework bubbling with tension and fraught with Radio Slave’s brand of dark, fractured house.

Belgian producer K-Deey joins Say What? with a powerful statement in the form of the Delulu EP — a hypnotic, rolling, and groove-driven collection of four finely crafted techno cuts.

The EP kicks off with 'Delulu' - built around a pulsating low-end and tight, swinging percussion, this track teases and evolves with subtle oldschool stabs and hypnotic vocal snippets that seem to echo from a distant dimension. The result is a track that keeps the floor locked in while allowing the mind to drift — a perfect opener for setting a deep, rolling mood

Next up is 'Whimsical', a deeper and more introspective offering. Here, K-Deey leans into a hypnotic loop structure, with subtly evolving synth phrases and a dubby bassline that anchors the track. There’s a dreamlike quality in the textures, creating a perfect final chapter for the EP. It’s a track that invites inner reflection just as much as it commands movement.

The third track on the release is '16:1' - a sharp, percussive groove lays the groundwork for layered synth stabs and intricate hi-hat patterns that push the track forward relentlessly. There's a mechanical yet playful edge here — a kind of controlled chaos — making it ideal for peak-time energy without ever becoming too obvious. The minimal arrangement leaves space for DJs to stretch and manipulate in the mix.

Closing the EP is 'Tachitita', diving into more Electro techno territory. The groove is warm and bouncy, led by metalic-inspired rhythms and interlocking drum patterns that evoke a sense of ritualistic movement. Unexpected dark textures and tonal percussion elements flicker across the stereo field, giving this track a playful but driving character that keeps dancers engaged and guessing.

Supercharged drums hammer and shake in Björn Torwellen’s ‘The Overstayer Protocol’. The air hums with raw electric power, zapping through soft dub chords that tumble in the distance, oﬀering a glimpse of another world while its industrial groove rattles on. Title track ‘Codebreaker’ then sees the lasers ride pounding kick drums, building in intensity before dropping into head-warping, brutish and futuristic synth hits, closing out another EP of excellent Torwellen sound design for CLR. With a career spanning over two decades, Björn Torwellen is known for his discography on labels such as De-Konstrukt, Nachtstrom Schallplatten, nonlinear systems, and CLR. He also heads the German-based educational platform SINEE, oﬀering masterclasses, guides, feedback sessions, and more alongside artists such as Luigi Madonna, ANNẼ, and DEAS. 

Founded by influential techno lynchpin Chris Liebing in 1999 and reemerging in 2021 after a five-year hiatus, Create Learn Repeat (CLR) has hosted a range of artists like Shlomi Aber, Dubfire, Flug, Bjarki, DJ Dextro and more while also focusing on developing newer acts in the scene such as Risa Taniguchi, The Southern, and Klint.

TIMEKUBE is a DJ and producer from San Bernardino, California known for his raw, rolling approach to techno — stripped-back grooves, deep low-end, and energy built for late nights and dark rooms.

Since 2014, he’s been steadily building his sound and profile, with releases on respected labels like KMS Records, Kneaded Pains, and Odd Recordings. His music has earned support from some of the biggest names in techno, including Carl Cox, Alan Fitzpatrick, Kevin Saunderson, and Amelie Lens, to name a few.

TIMEKUBE has become a familiar name in the LA techno circuit, performing at key events in Los Angeles such as RE/FORM, WORK, and LickNDip, while sharing lineups with artists like Dax J, SNTS, Spartaque, Brennen Grey, and Dense & Pika.
