Those who like to stray into unknown areas of the cosmos and are not afraid of the occasional squall should embark on Esshar's hypnospheric journey. The sets played describe a spectrum full of technoid soundscapes: dark synthesizers, twisted atmospheres, ecstatic moments, broken beats and driving rhythms - subtle and energetic at the same time.
Esshar has been part of the club and music scene for 10 years now and has been a resident DJ at Südpol Hamburg since 2019. Together with the Hamburg collective Kosmos&Krawall, Esshar organizes parties, DJ workshops and regular open FLINTA* rehearsal rooms so that they can try out and network together with the aim of strengthening diversity in the long term.

Straight outta Cairns, Australia, now resides in Berlin. TasteyDJ (aka Josie) has been deep in the scene since the late '90s—DJing, throwing parties, and running the legendary Taste-y Productions record store for over a decade. She helped shape the sound of North Queensland long before streaming made it easy.

Her sets are a wild mix of deep & groovy house, melodic techno, nu-disco, global beats, downtempo and leftfield gems. Never one to stick to one lane, she reads the room and takes it somewhere unexpected—always with rhythm, warmth and soul.
Festival regular back home (OrinAya, NYX, Kuranda Roots, Mushroom Valley, Tropical Fruits), she’s now stepping further out—recent gigs include Cusco, Peru and Berlin’s own KitKat Club.
