Both born and raised in Sao Paulo, Brazil, this duo first met around 2008-09. Perhaps it was inevitable, as both share great love and passion for music. Not long after they met, the two producers began developing a taste for deep and groovy house. Under the names Mr. H and RafaEL, the artists began their career releasing in labels such as, Home Grooves, Experimentaltech Records, Oxygen House Music, Suma Records,Xtended and more. Searching for a new sound and concept the duo embarked on a new project called Alt.Society. Sharing the same musical roots, tastes and creative vision, this project involves music for the ears, or in other words, music to listen AND dance, rather than to just dance.

UK house and garage icon Jeremy Sylvester debuts on Madhouse Records to open 2020 as he delivers the two-track ‘Que Sexy’.

A fundamental part of the UK scene since the early 90’s, with over 4 million record sales and three UK top 20 singles to his name, London’s Jeremy Sylvester needs little introduction when it comes to the world’s of both house and garage. From releases on labels including Nice ‘N’ Ripe and his own Urban Dubz, to remixes for the likes of Farley ‘Jackmaster’ Funk and El-B, Sylvester’s rich catalogue has seen the influential DJ and producer release material via a plethora of aliases and projects over the years, however, 2020 signals a new journey into previously unchartered waters as he makes his debut on Kerri Chandler’s Madhouse imprint with his two-track EP ‘Que Sexy’.

Title cut ‘Que Sexy’ introduces a smooth journey into classic house territories as jacking drums meet slick chord melodies and rich organ stabs, guided by a wandering vocal throughout, whilst ‘Welcome To The Club’ ups the energy with skipping hats, further infectious vocal work and bright, lively lead melodies to shape up the package in impressive fashion.

Co-founder of the French label Ondulé Recordings, Joss is also known as one of the most active artists on Robsoul recordings on which he has released top notch releases as his well-known series of "Rooms".

His musical experiments brought him to elaborate a particular sound and atmosphere that can be perceived in each and every set and production he does: funky enough to make it into Jackin’ house sets, hard enough to wrap around some tech, and groovy enough for those soulful types to grab on for dear life.
