Zorrozaurre fue un  escenario donde se consolidaron diversas actividades industriales, muchas de ellas relacionadas con el sector portuario.  
La apertura completa del canal de Deusto ha supuesto la transformación de lo que antaño fuera una península,  en la actual isla de Zorrozaurre.  
Hoy el paisaje es una muestra de la regeneración urbana puesta en marcha en Bilbao, una ciudad en continua evolución desde su fundación, hace ahora 721 años.
La ciudad sigue en proceso de cambio para adaptarse a las necesidades del futuro sin perder la perspectiva del pasado.
Zorrozaurre: una isla para vivir, trabajar y disfrutar.

Deustuko kanala guztiz irekitzearekin eraldatu egin da garai batean penintsula zena eta  Zorrozaurreko uhartea sortu da.  
Gaur egungo paisaiak ikustera ematen du nolako hiri-eraldaketa bizi duen Bilbok, duela 721 urte sortu zenetik etengabe eboluzionatu duen hiriak.
Bilbok aldatzen jarraitzen du etorkizuneko premietara egokitzeko iraganaren ikuspegia galdu gabe.

Zorrozaurre was an important industrial setting and home to many companies related to the port sector.  
The opening up of the Deusto Canal has meant the former Zorrozaure peninsula has now been converted into an island.  
The landscape is today an example of the urban regeneration of Bilbao, a constantly evolving city since it was founded 721 years ago. 
The city continues to change to adapt to future needs without losing sight of the past.

We live in an era of improvisation, a time in which electronic works seek speed, forgetting the creative processes necessary for their development. “Plan and Execution” distances itself from this trend and proposes a return to the concept worked out step by step, looking for the reasons for each of the sounds that make it up. 

Before starting work in the studio, Joton has drawn up a coherent plan that synchronizes the motivations that have led him to build this EP. Once the conceptual structure is made, he begins the production process following predetermined guidelines. Thanks to this order in the final result of "Plan and Execution" there are no cracks or empty parts of content. Each of his tracks is an example of how to fit different pieces of the techno sound into an indissoluble unit.

Vivimos una época de improvisación, un tiempo en el que los trabajos electrónicos buscan la rapidez olvidándose de los procesos creativos necesarios para su desarrollo. “Plan and Execution” se desmarca de esta tendencia y propone la vuelta al concepto trabajado paso a paso, buscando los porqués de cada uno de los sonidos que lo componen.

Antes de comenzar el trabajo en el estudio, Joton ha trazado un plan coherente que sincronice las motivaciones que le han llevado a construir este EP. Una vez realizada la estructura conceptual, comienza el proceso de producción siguiendo unas pautas predeterminadas. Gracias a este orden en el resultado final de “Plan and Execution” no existen fisuras ni partes vacías de contenido. Cada uno de sus tracks es un ejemplo de cómo encajar diferentes piezas del sonido techno en una unidad indisoluble.

“Inverted Collapse” by JOTON explores the forbidden geometry of the cosmos , where gravity spits instead of swallows, and time itself rots at the edges of reality. Inspired by the hypothetical phenomenon of white holes, this release channels a dark, mechanical energy, pushing techno into a space where decay, expulsion, and reversal converge. Five tracks carved from antimatter and silence, designed to confront the void and come out burning.

With over two decades dedicated to the underground electronic scene, Joton has built a career that is both inspiring and influential. Based in León, Spain, he has meticulously crafted a distinctive style of techno, blending modern innovation with classic sensibilities.

As the founder of Newrhythmic Records, Joton has championed the work of countless national and international artists for over 20 years. His passion and vision have helped establish the label as a prominent force in the techno world. Joton’s global reach as a DJ has taken him to over 30 countries, where he has performed on some of the world’s most iconic stages.

A prolific artist, Joton's work has been showcased on renowned labels including Illegal Alien, Fabric, Modularz, Symbolism, Planet Rhythm, Raw Raw, Dynamic Reflection, Quartz, Odd Even, and Skryptöm. His tracks have garnered support from legendary figures such as Ben Klock, DVS1, Rødhåd, Dave Clarke, Ben Sims, Surgeon, Truncate, and Go Hiyama.

In 2015, Joton released his debut album, Casting Out Nines, to critical acclaim, presenting it across ten countries on three continents. Two years later, he embraced his analog roots with the album R3silient. 2018 saw the release of Antioquia on Odd Even and Extreme Measures on RAW RAW, further solidifying his reputation as a leading figure in techno. His most recent album, Hikikomori (2021), was born out of his interactive production courses, reflecting themes of isolation during the pandemic.

In addition to his production and performance work, Joton is a respected educator. Since 2010, he has shared his knowledge through collaborations with leading brands like Arturia, Parallel Festival, Microfusa, Intec and The Bass Valley, as well as international institutions such as Beatworx Academy in India.

Joton’s performances have left an indelible mark on some of the world’s most celebrated venues, including  Tresorin Berlin, REX in Paris, Basement in New York, Corsica Studios in London, Grelle Forelle in Vienna, Propagandain Moscow, Dommune in Tokyo, Vault Sessions in Amsterdam, Tunnel in Pereira, Razzmatazz in Barcelona, Garein Porto, Infra in Boston, Under Club in Buenos Aires, Drugstore in Belgrade, Fabrik in Madrid, Technosnobs in Phoenix, among others.
