Inspiration:

This track was something that I was working on around 10 years ago with a friend of mine. I recently stumbled upon it a few weeks ago and decided to record a very rough shortened version of it. I will most likely record the original later which is longer and more nuanced. This was just a quick endeavor on my part to remind him that I still think of him and care for him. It's a lighter and much less complicated version than the original calls for and I am sure you will be able to hear this from the recording. 

The song was written as a memoir of a struggle that he went through with his father. It is something that has left deep scars on his life, these scars have always remained with him and influenced him in a big way. In this recording I chose to fuse Blues and Country together as they are two genre's that he is particularly fond of. I hope you are able to resonate with the message and that you enjoy listening to this very short piece.
