After getting so much love for our latest release "Battousai" by Peter Makto, coming up next is a great single ep track from our Label Boss Hot TuneiK. Returning with a third release on his own imprint, after his Album was released, Hot TuneiK brings another gem. This beauty called "Gee" is full of wonderful sounds and futuristic textures, with more than 400 releases on his back, now delivers a new design of music production for himself. The track is nicely developed with new components perfectly designed, plucks and synths with massive low-end groove applied on the baselines, great synthetic percussion layers captures the essence of the track while the melody goes progressively on the almost 9 min record. Powerful set of arpeggios meticulously created with tremendous synths and chords on the breakdown makes an impressive work. Great vocals from Paloma gives another futuristic touch, glitchy and chopped effects flourishes an impeccable dancefloor tune, a nice complement to the ethereal progressive track that Diego provides. Another jewel for Guateque Music.

PREMIERE: Hot Tuneik - Gee [Guateque Music]

For Senses Records welcomes BRANN joining the label with this two-originals EP titled PRADERA including a stunning remix by MANU PAVEZ. Rising Argentinian talent with releases on labels such as Particles and Freegant Music, Brann brings his progressive sound to For Senses. EP opener Pradera presents a well sustained driving rhythmic foundation while pads add depth to a hypnotic framework, creating a perfect combination of melody and rhythm, providing a club-friendly track. On the remix duties of Pradera, is Manu Pavez, also debuting on the label, with releases on labels such as Mango Alley and Forward Music, imprints his sound signature creating a powerful remix for the track, full of groove. Closing the EP Sumandra, continues the progressive tone set with a fluid groove moving through rolling contours and rhythmic pulses, creating a mystical feeling track to the dancefloor. An excellent debut for Brann on For Senses.

Brann - Pradera (Manu Pavez Remix)

Nikko.Z's Dopamine White opens the month of October by welcoming Felipe Garcia (UY) and Luciano Pelliza to the label for their debut EP. Hailing from Uruguay and inspired by Guy J, Hernan Cattaneo and Sasha, Felipe Garcia has an innate ability to tell a story within his brand of progressive music. Although just three years into his production career, long standing imprints such as 3rd Avenue, Balkan Connection, Deep Down Music and Droid9 have been a landing spots for Felipe's progressive sound, as he continues to establish his place amongst the genre's rising talents. Meanwhile, hailing from Argentina, Luciano Pelliza has emerged from his country's progressive house scene as an artist to watch. A pair of releases in 2022 via Transensations and Or Two Strangers affiliate Strangers Beats brought attention to the talented Cordoba resident, a rising force who had firmly established a groovy yet melodic take on the genre. Moving forward, the next two calendar years proved to be huge for Luciano, as he built on that early momentum with a consistent and more prolific release schedule, one highlighted by projects for Deep Down Music, Droid9, Mango Alley and Or Two Strangers, amongst others. Now, combining their extensive forces for the first time, Felipe and Luciano debut on Dopamine White with ‘Gravity Falls', alongside a remix from Enzo Paradiso & Felipe Gurascier.

Beginning with the original mix, the duo's craftsmanship reveals itself in what is a deep retro production aimed squarely at the dancefloor. A DJ friendly intro sets the pace for billowed chord stabs and flickering percussive arrangements to layer a tough, rolling bassline. Carving out a smooth path into the break, it's a series of vocal fragments which prelude an emerging melody, resulting in a strong emotional response. As the interlude melts down to a quiet calm, anticipation is high, with balmy atmospheres and muted melodies eventually revealing further vocal deconstructions, before segueing into a groovy, key-changing finale.

Rounding out the release with the lone interpretation of ‘Gravity Falls' is Enzo Paradiso & Felipe Gurascier. Hailing from Uruguay, both Enzo and Felipe have achieved measurable success across their respective careers. Their discographies are highlighted by releases via Mango Alley, MNL and Nick Warren's The Soundgarden. Now paired together for Dopamine White, Enzo and Felipe debut on the label with an inspired take on ‘Gravity Falls'. Opting for a deeper approach, the duo marry shapely grooves and rolling percussion with flickering sonics and balmy atmospheres. Hopeful melodies and trance inducing textures take centrestage across the main break, bringing equal amounts of exhilaration and serenity, before clustered sonics and a gentle build spark a groove-centric drop and glowing finale.

Trafuls Developments Vol. 5 brings together three rising talents in Progressive House from Argentina, each making their debut on the label. PREMIERE: Manu Pavez - Dancefloor Thriller [Traful]

Clubsonica Records rounds out the month of November with a new EP from label boss Juan Pablo Torrez and Jossem. Colombian artist and Clubsonica label boss Juan Pablo Torrez has compiled an impressive resume since first emerging in 2007. Mango Alley, Plattenbank, The Soundgarden, UV and more have served as landing spots for his progressive creations, while world class DJs Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren have been steadfast supporters along the way. Also highly regarded as a DJ, Juan remains one of Colombia's premiere talents, sharing the stage with Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Sasha, Tim Green, D-Nox and more. Meanwhile, also calling Colombia home is Jossem who arrives as one of his country’s new names in progressive house. A collaborative partnership with fellow countryman Kamilo Sanclemente has yielded standout projects for Nick Warren’s The Soundgarden, amongst others. Now, combining their forces for the first time via Clubsonica, Juan Pablo Torrez and Jossem unveil their ‘Lost In Love | Ambar’ EP, alongside remixes from Marcelo Vasami, Hicky & Kalo and Abity.

Lead selection ‘Lost in Love’ finds Juan and Jossem introducing the emotive vocals of Velveta. A precious talent from Cali, Colombia who has already collaborated with some of electronic music’s finest innovators and labels such as Anjunadeep, Songuara and UV. Here the trio flex their creative muscles and craft a nostalgic progressive house gem, a sprawling production that would be equally at home above a festival skyline or sitting in the emotional sweet spot of an end of the night scenario. The companion piece ‘Ambar’ follows suit and lands in equally impressive fashion with a strong sense of drive and swing heavy rhythms. Although this looping hypnotism does not fail to command your attention, its slow burning anticipation, orbiting effects and otherworldly breakdown ultimately seal what is a mid-set masterpiece. 

The first interpretation of ‘Lost in Love’ is provided by Marcelo Vasami. A recent partnership with progressive house icon Hernan Cattaneo has seen the duo become a formidable remix team. Now, making his much anticipated Clubsonica debut, Marcelo puts a touch on ‘Lost in Love’. Taking a smooth yet energetic approach, he constructs a tight rhythmic core, complemented with punchy beats, reprocessed vocals and retro chord stabs. It's this timeless fusion of sound which ultimately makes for a version that is both refreshing and club-effective; one that should crossover to a variety of dancefloors across the remainder of 2024 and on into 2025.

The final interpretation of ‘Lost in Love’ is provided by Hicky & Kalo. Although regulars throughout Quebec's much lauded club circuit, it is the world-renowned Stereo Nightclub which has served as the home base for their impeccable taste and exquisite programming skills. Also accomplished producers, the duo's deep melodic sounds have found a home on Renaissance, Watergate, and their own Plaisirs Sonores imprint. Now, they make their long awaited Clubsonica debut with an inspired rendition of ‘Lost in Love’. Opting for a contemporary club-effective approach, the duo’s muscular grooves, robust rhythmic structures and hazy vocal mutations make this ideal for the peak-time hours, when emotions are at their most receptive, in turn adding another sure fire weapon to your arsenal for the remainder of 2024.

The release concludes with Abity for the lone interpretation of ‘Ambar’. Finding a home on Clubsonica, the duo’s creative partnership with the label began in 2022 with the release of ‘Sinerxia | Lotus’, a project which now finds them returning for their first remix, as they put their own unique twist on ‘Ambar’. Adding further depth to the release, the duo artist opts for an emotive approach here, focusing on a cohesive blend of swaying grooves and trance-inducing arps, while tastefully incorporating the original’s distinctive rhythmic qualities, sealing what is a feel-good journey to round out the release in style.
