“Our Story” is the band’s first album, recorded during 2013-2014, and released in 2015. The album includes 12 tracks with some instrumental pieces.

The majority of the album’s lyrics were written by Jad Brek, a local poet from Occupied Golan Heights. Busher Abu Saleh, and Shadi Abu Jabal also, participated in writing a couple of songs. The Album talks about a range of issues: social, political and the daily struggles of the Arab youth.

Hawa Dafi utilized its eastern and western musical influences to create a unique sound. The album is sure to take you on a journey with its atmospheric textures and flow of gypsy, energetic sounds.

One of the Arabic tracks on the record SUNGOD, 'Alihat' was written out of need: as a young Arab woman, when Yazbeck could not find the message she longed to hear, she wrote it herself. The track combines lilting Lebanese vocals with tongue-in-cheek lyrics and Arabic spoken word, inciting women to forsake white worship and return to their own definitions of feminism - examples of which we witness every day in our mothers, neighbours, grandmothers, aunts… in all the women in our lives who silently hold the universe together and enable us to go forth and be great.

Vagabond

Palestinian Singer-songwriter and Multi-genre musician. Pioneer of the Free Arabic Rock genre  that was developed along the years with various musicians and bands, the latest being FISHSAMAK. Mostly known for sarcastic and political lyrics often considered provocative, yet he offers much more. Jowan started his career in the late '90s as LENSES releasing three low-fi singer-songwriter experimental albums between 2001-2007. In 2012, he broke through to the wider Arab world audience with the release of his album Namrud, breaking social taboos with songs like “Electricity”, and quirky parody “Poor Infidels” which rapidly became an anthem for fans across the Arab world, and subsequently led to his detention in Jordan for which Jowan was accused of blasphemy. Jowan was also investigated in Israel and accused of inciting violence and terrorism following his performance in a street festival, in which local media misquoted his lyrics, the file was closed for lack of guilt after 2 years of investigations.  
Jowan's lyrics can be controversial– subtly toned with his personal reflections on a wide range of issues related to politics, religion and philosophy, morality and sexuality. These fundamental components are what give his work a rare and revealing authenticity, making him one of the most influential contemporary artists in the Arabic scene. His 2015 controversial summer hit “To Be an Arab” reached to Israeli and International media, with a rock hard message to the racist Israeli society.
