Today she lives in Berlin and brings the unique sound and vibe of the city to her sets. As a newbie DJ, she has already conquered the dance floors of several Hamburg clubs. With hot vocals, bittersweet industrial and pulsating tribal sounds as well as a rousing baseline, she creates an unmistakable atmosphere that takes the crowd on a thrilling journey and makes people vibrate with her unique sound.

An emerging artist from Vancouver in a city that has already contributed its share to electronic music, Son of Magnus’ short discography belies the depth of his craft. Across the six tracks on the Listening Post EP, his debut for From Another Star and our fifth release overall, this fresh name exudes confidence that often outclasses experienced producers.
‘Signal Degradation’ launches the trip, dark and mysterious but with forceful drive and taken at a moderate tempo to emphasize its ambience, pushed on by rolling percussion. Setting the coordinates to its title, ‘124052305-k.Ref 1.36’ begins the cruise phase, slackening the pace slightly as bleeping pulsars whizz by on the displays. ‘Delta Modulation’ maintains the trajectory and adds space junk hits and phaser zaps, debris rattling off the hull in an asteroid belt. The ominous tone returns in ‘Radiation Code K-t1’ as beams of bleeps insistently irradiate the drive, causing velocity instabilities and a brief shutdown. ‘Calculated Distance’ increases speed and heads to deep space, the static blasts from the propulsion systems combining with an oscillating lead to put distance from the danger. Mission objectives completed, ‘Tentative Bliss’ quickens the pace for the return voyage, the thick cosmic ambience and heavy bass pulse finally evoking the familiar surroundings of Earth.

PURVEYANCE TECHNO TRANSMISSIONS #007 llega de la mano de Étam

ÉTAM es originario de Santander, pero también es un trotamundos que ha vivido en todas partes, desde Belgrado hasta Oslo pasando por Barcelona, ahora su hogar. Le gusta la música electrónica desde que era un niño, pero fue el lado más profundo y oscuro del techno lo que realmente le atrajo.

Étam se centra en las mezclas largas, centrándose en la ecualización para hacer que la música brille y llevar a los oyentes a un viaje sonoro único. En 2022, llevó las cosas al siguiente nivel al fundar su propio sello discográfico, @loopainarecords, que dirige con su hermano Jorge. Están trabajando duro para hacerse un hueco en la dura escena del techno, donde suelen dominar los sellos de artistas consagrados.
