Dronny Darko present his new dystopian album Godless Land, where cities are swallowed by overgrowth with humans gone.

You see cities you once knew, now swallowed by overgrowth.
You stand amidst a surreal landscape, where nature has reclaimed the concrete jungle. Vines and creepers have wrapped themselves around skyscrapers, pulling them back into the earth. The streets are a tangle of overgrowth, with buildings consumed by the relentless march of vegetation.

You hear the silence, punctuated only by the creaks and groans of structures surrendering to nature's onslaught.

Your footsteps echo off the walls as you navigate through a sea of ferns and wildflowers that have claimed the pavement as their own. The air is thick with the scent of damp earth and decay, a reminder that humans are no longer the dominant force here

3 veteran producers in the genre, Apocryphos, Kammarheit & Atrium Carceri, collaborate on this behemoth of an album. Each utilizing each others strengths to bring forth a dark and emotional ride through distant memories. 

Onyx is a soundscape journey related to the reflection of dispirited memories and obscure sorrows felt by mankind. With the multitude of techniques used by each artist, it also reflects the rich history of the dark ambient genre and how it has progressed through the decades. 

The signature analogue darkness of gargantuan caves of Kammarheit is combined with the sacral and emotional layering of Apocryphos and the rhytmical bass throbbing and isolated pianos of Atrium Carceri. 

This album was created by cross linking 3 studios in Oregon (US), Pennsylvania (US) and Umeå(Sweden). It took over 3800 lines of studio notes to finalize the album.

Contrabass flute, cello, piano, Rhodes, these are only some of the ingredients that make up the ten tracks on 'If Nine Was Eight'. On this album, percussionist Eigner and pianist Gerold collaborated again with a number of musicians: Jazz tubist Jon Sass, saxophonist Werner Zangerle, and Swiss avant-garde percussionist Julian Sartorius are among the contributors. Flip Philipp, member of the Wiener Symphoniker, plays marimba and vibraphone. Various flutes are added by Norbert Trawöger, a prolific mediator between old and new music. Mira Lu Kovacs (Schmieds Puls) is responsible for the lyrics of and vocals on the track 'Old People,' and Viennese artist Mimu Merz (Book of Now) is once more a part of the team.

The two bearded Swedes join forces on this collaborative album. Black Corner Den is the result of long winter studio sessions separated by the atlantic ocean but made possible by the internet. Lonely moments in the company of the night lamp, overlooking the messy pile of tape loops while the machines hummed and the piano played until the morning. 

Exploring the opium dens at the end of the 19th century this album takes you deep into the soothing dreams of dead poets. 

"The streets lay silent as the floor creeks under your bare feet. The old loft lit by a wax candle, it's light dancing over your oak desk. You grab the vial of black ink and the leather bound book as you scurry out the door into the humid night. You pass trails of fire as the lamplighter tends to the myriad lanterns adorning the bridge. A left turn leads you down a set of stone stairs where the satin clad lounge welcomes you in. 

Sweet smoke lingers in here where gentlemen gather to dream about the black sea. Your booth at the far end stands prepared. A pipe, tinderbox and purple pillow for a tired head. You have a friend tonight and it calls itself the Black Corner Den."

Berlin hat Angst. Laut einer Umfrage befürchten 47% der Berliner*nnen, wegen Mietsteigerungen ihre Wohnung zu verlieren. Insbesondere seit der Finanzkrise 2008 ist Berlin zur Beute geworden – aus aller Welt flüchten Kapital und Investor*innen ins „Betongold“. Wurde anfangs noch gegen Hipster und Studierende geschimpft, so haben Viele inzwischen begriffen, dass die Eigentümer*innen das Problem sind: Wohnraum als Ware, die Immobilie als Spekulation sind Quellen unserer Angst. Weil die Wohnungen uns nicht gehören, könnte jemand sie uns wegnehmen. Doch die Eigentumswohnung ist unbezahlbar. Und sie ist nur für wenige ein Gebrauchswert, den sie selber nutzen. Wer könnte auch 100.000 Wohnungen selber bewohnen - so viele besitzt die „Deutsche Wohnen AG“, Berlins größter Vermieter. Für sie und andere sind Wohnungen nur eines: ein Geschäft. Je größer die Wohnungsnot, desto größer der Profit.
Doch wie kommen wir raus aus dieser Misere? Mehr Regulierung? Bauen, Bauen, Bauen? Rekommunalisieren? Vorkaufsrecht – oder gleich enteignen?  Trotz fortgesetzter Proteste hat es seit dem Antritt des Rot-Rot-Grünen Senats keine Strategiedebatte der stadtpolitischen Bewegung Berlins gegeben. Genau dazu wollen wir einladen.

Ausgangspunkt ist, dass es nun zwar öffentlich finanzierten Neubau, aber keinerlei Pläne zur Zurückdrängung der privaten Immobilienspekulation gibt. Die Mieten werden weiter steigen, auch wenn sich das Angebot erweitert. Als Interventionistische Linke wollen wir daher mit Euch über einen radikalen Vorschlag diskutieren: die Abschaffung des privaten Wohnungsmarktes. Dafür haben wir  die strategischen Überlegungen der stadtpolitischen Bewegungen zusammengetragen. Eine Reihe von Reformen, die Wohnraum Schritt für Schritt aus privater in öffentliche Hand bringen und demokratisieren sollen. Das ganze soll im Januar 2018 als Broschüre erscheinen – aber vorher wollen wir es in vier Veranstaltungen gemeinsam diskutieren, drehen, wenden, hinterfragen.
Wir schlagen einen Dreischritt vor: Den privaten Wohnungsmarkt zurückdrängen durch Steuern, Regulierung, Marktbehinderung. Dadurch wird Spekulation unattraktiv, die Preise sinken. Dies erlaubt es, im zweiten Schritt Wohnraum als Gemeingut auszubauen: Rekommunalisierung, Aufkauf, Enteignung. Drittens muss parallel dazu die Verwaltung der bereits landeseigenen Wohnungen radikal demokratisiert werden. Ziel sind nicht 30% öffentlicher Wohnungsmarkt neben „den Privaten“, sondern die Abschaffung des Privaten Wohnungsmarktes durch Überführung aller nicht selbst genutzten Wohnungen in Gemeingut. Wir wollen die Vergesellschaftung des Wohnungsmarktes, begriffen als Einheit von öffentlichem Eigentum und demokratischer Selbstverwaltung.

Killdeer's singing style is rooted in blues, she's a storyteller. Listening to PHOEBE KILLDEER & THE SHORT STRAWS you might hear hints of Noise Rock, pounding inventive drumming, white noise, feedback, David Lynch’s disturbing climatic atmosphere, The Bad Seeds, Beasts of Bourbon and The Birthday Party. The sound is a perfect clash of raw, edgy, dirty blues with hints of industrial noise, reverb guitar, Yma Sumac’s Exotica and 60's Southern Soul.  Expect everything.

Berlin-based, Australian singer/songwriter Phoebe Killdeer, lead vocalist of PHOEBE KILLDEER & THE SHORT STRAWS, first gained attention in 2004 when she lent her powerful vocals to '80s pop ballads and reprises of new wave classics for the group NOUVELLE VAGUE. She was featured as a vocalist on several tracks on the second Nouvelle Vague album, Bande à Part, and toured widely with the group. Prior to that Killdeer offered up her singing skills to several prominent electronic artists, including Zero dB for their track "Sunshine Lazy" and Basement Jaxx, with whom she performed the song "Tonight" for their Kish Kash album.

Phoebe Killdeer’s collaboration with Nouvelle Vague continues, mainman Marc Collin providing his production skills on early recordings and releasing her new album, ‘INNERQUAKE’, on his Kwaidan record label. Produced by Matt Verta Ray (Heavy Trash), ‘INNERQUAKE’ was recorded after two years of PHOEBE KILLDEER & THE SHORT STRAWS live shows, they travelled the world honing their powerful sound and undeniable energy, Phoebe’s distinctive vocals and a killer live show have transfixed audiences across the globe.

j peter schwalm, born 1970, founded the experimental jazz band slop shop in 1993 before establishing the record label poets club records whose releases include slop shop "makrodelia I", "makrodelia II" and "interpretations" including remixes by jimi tenor, sensorama and brian eno. other recordings include "music for onmyio-ji" together with brian eno (jvc japan, 2000) and "musikain" (musikain records, 2006). peter has enjoyed a long collaboration with the producer brian eno. their many projects together include performances of peter&#180;s former project "slop shop" (also with holger czukay) in bonn, germany, 1998; the album "drawn from life" (virgin uk/astralwerks usa, 2001); a sound installation, 4D music, in the crater of a volcano in lanzarote, (2001); the soundtrack for nicholas winding refn&#180;s film noir "fear x" (2003); and two tracks for brian eno&#180;s new album "another day on earth" (2005). other work includes original music for: "the disneykiller" (state theatre, darmstadt 1995); the ballet "impaired ground" (state theatre, stuttgart,1999); "don&#180;t look now" (lyric hammersmith/sheffield theatres 2007) and numerous television documentaries (arte/spanish/catalan tv). he has toured extensively in portugal, spain, italy and japan and recently completed a remix of "tristan and isolde" by richard wagner (gateway4music, 2006). peter is also a guest lecturer at guildhall school of music and drama. ------- brian eno about playing with j. peter schwalm: when we first played, it was an immediately comfortable and synthetic playing relationship. My biggest problem with improvising with people generally is that they retreat into a safe place too quickly for me, and he didn't do that.
