JP,  Hatched in Pasadena, CA. Grew up a little bit in Toronto The Good, San Francisco pre Google ,Winona AZ.. when J was a young 'un, he played in the Toronto bands The Other Side,Casual Casual ,The Dead Heroes & The Silver Foxes .. was  playing stand up bass at The Cameron Public House on Queen St E. with the musician,artist Pete Dako,Dai Skuse and Simon Lambert( of The Now Infamous Rent Boys!) 
w/ Casual Casual, doing songs by The V.U.  covers of  Television ,Patti Smith ,George Jones,  sprinklings of Jazz Standards when  then along come Eric Schenkman , virtuoso  guitarist of the NYC Band,The Spin Doctors 
 who he's played music with since grade 6 haha they formed the 'Cow Punkish', Slash records influenced Dead Heroes, along with Guitar-zan Kurt Scheffter( of Alannah Myles ,Black Velvet Fame) &  The infamous, filthy animal of a drummer, Koko Kohler...
J was lucky enough to co -write the song  'More Then She Knows'  which was on The Spin Doctors break out Album, Pocketful Of Kryptonite, tune was also used as the 'Cold Open' for an epi. of the TV show 'Party Of Five'  toured all across Canada with Ray Sawyer ,  Dr Hook's, eye patch ,Cow Boy hat wearing ,gold toothed Leader, who invited JP to move to Nashville. he was 20 ish and got to tour the world, go into the studio in LA , Oslo, Copenhagen  aling with playing festivals ,concerts ,juke joints and for 75,000 Danes at The MytFyns Festival in Denmark.
For 8 years  he played bass and sang with Ray Sawyer
 John Peter got a wicked fun, solid education in the Blues ,Country and Western  scene.. along w/ Southern Culture on the skids! haha 
J P Easy On The Mic got to play with legendary NOLA drummers Karl T Himmel&Allyn Robinson, who have played ,recorded with  Wayne Cochran ,Jaco, and Neil Young,JJ Cale etc
JP left Hook, moved to Vancouver B.C. where he joined rising New Country Star, No Depression act  T.M.Harding, and also played with Fosterchild's guitarist ,songwriter Jim Foster ,  playing all over the lower mainland and western Provinces
 JP then headed south to LA ,where he worked straight gigs  doing 'On Set Dressing' and building sets for film and TV,
where he joined IATSE Local 44 and AFTRA- SAG
His neighbor in Los Feliz, Thomas Chan brought him into the  
 The Naked Trucker & T-Bones Show which
was a funny,popular act, with a great,long 'SRO' run at the original, cool LA Music, Comedy Club, Flanagan's ' Largo'  which was across the street from  the world famous Jewish Deli , Canter's  Kibbutz Rm  on Fairfax Ave.. that lead to Jay Pea co- writing and performing at CBS Television City, for Bill Maher's HBO Show, where they spoofed the dueche bag Toby Keith & his BS,phony, patriotic anthem,the song they co wrote ,recorded, &  performed w/ Bill the next night on HBO
JPF also co-composed the 'Cold Open' to Bob Odenkirk's film 'Lets Go To Prison' which they got to cut at the iconic ,Stacked Records, Capitol Records building,
famous studio 'B' in Hollywood..  along with  co-composing and performing all the incidental music ,the bumpers ,stingers and tags with the theme music, for the Naked Trucker's short lived, Comedy Central TV show..
JP-easy -On- The-Mic aka Mr. Lucky McGraw, also got a fluke guest spot, playing bass in a funny scene,On Freaks And Geeks, in episode 'Carded And Discarded' performing The 'Coop's I'm 18, with Dave 'Gruber'Allen/Mr Russo ,The Naked Trucker.. The Trucker Band played on Jimmy Kimmel 2x's , Conan ( while still in NYC )The Craig Ferguson Show,  and Bill Maher..JP studied Upright Bass with Dick Felix in Toronto ,
Spazz, Aka Johnny Hatton in Los Angeles
 and electric bass and music theory with Happy Roderman in Toronto,Ontario 
  John Peter Fitting is a member of S.A.G. -AFTRA, I.A.T.S.E. Local 44 and the A.F. of M Local 47
