WTF Is Wrong with You People?

The second full-length album sees the band exploring new sounds and traversing genres while maintaining an emphasis on sophisticated songwriting. Brittany Bindrim's voice soars on the epic opening track, "Cursive Eve", and she never looks back. The quartet shows off its polished new sound with sexy dance-rock ("Ultravioletfly", "Machine Vision") and club-friendly synthpop ("Melt", "Toy Soldier"). Meanwhile they are just as comfortable utilizing organic rock elements on the beautifully haunting "Translate" and powerfully catchy "Salt of Stones". Bindrim's lyrics have never been better as she explores topics of a more political, social, and sexual nature while not abandoning her trademark insightful introspection. Once again, electronic music mastermind Wade Alin (Christ Analogue, The Atomica Project) adds his signature slick production elements to the 12-track set.

Cursive Eve

These are 3 very different sounding tracks: "Born and Bled" is a thrashy bassmetal monster featuring Amelia Arsenic. "Survivor" is a sort of epic power ballad ala industrial trap-metal that probably has the most powerful lyrics Rabbit Junk has ever penned. The title track "Reveal" is sans guitar and totally hooky, yet...undeniably crushing. Together, these three divergent tracks remind us of what we have overcome. This is Rabbit Junk, never pinned down or cornered, in-between everything and fully in your face!
