Pathogenesis

All dominance begets resistance. Each act of suppression—whether clumsy or adept—instigates a future confrontation with a now schooled insurgent. Hence, the king, the emperor, the dictator: each eventually asphyxiates within a syrupy hubris, recklessly dreaming of their indomitable control. The seeds of their undoing germinate in the rich loam of their own arrogant certainty. Yes, all dominance begets resistance. Power is so contemptibly temporary. The only exception to this otherwise iron-clad rule is the form of dominance we call death. Death is irresistible. Death dominates all things without so much as a whisper of defiance. Until now. 

Machinery. Ducts and cannula, glistening black in a sterile light. Fluids. Rivers of nanites, restless and hungry. Flesh. A contradiction no longer tolerable, that which makes the world a prison. Pain. Soon to be forgotten. I surrendered to the transformation. The screams echo on the curving metal interior, becoming progressively alien to my deteriorating senses. Distortions in time, a reverberating barbiturate howl of awakening. I sit up. A thousand years may have passed. Or milliseconds.

These are 3 very different sounding tracks: "Born and Bled" is a thrashy bassmetal monster featuring Amelia Arsenic. "Survivor" is a sort of epic power ballad ala industrial trap-metal that probably has the most powerful lyrics Rabbit Junk has ever penned. The title track "Reveal" is sans guitar and totally hooky, yet...undeniably crushing. Together, these three divergent tracks remind us of what we have overcome. This is Rabbit Junk, never pinned down or cornered, in-between everything and fully in your face!
