Track off my upcoming album "Plastic Peel Aliens".

"Plastic Peel Aliens" has been a work in progress over the past three years, sparked by a highly unlikely source of inspiration: the act of peeling plastic off plexiglass separators installed between office cubicles and desks. This seemingly ordinary task unveiled a rich soundscape, brimming with unexpected harmonics, moments of aggression, and even occasional alien-like qualities. This sound became the sole source upon which the entire album was built.

Armed with my phone's voice recorder, I volunteered to set up these separators across all four floors of my former workplace. These initial recordings became the foundation of an extensive library of samples. Each sample was meticulously processed in various ways, allowing me to craft a diverse palette of sounds that served as the vocabulary for composing the album's tracks.

"Plastic Peel Aliens" comprises eight tracks, including a bonus one, that delve into dark, heavy, and claustrophobic sonic territories, marking a notable departure from my previous releases as Pie Are Squared. However, they maintain the core principle of harnessing a limited set of sound sources to push creative boundaries to the fullest.

My first public performance at Boston Modular.  Used a Make Noise 0-Coast controlled by an Arturia Keystep and Korg SQ-1, run through a Zoom MS-70CDR effects pedal, and recorded by a Zoom H5.
