"I wrote Imaginary Thunder while recording with César Callirgos at his studio SOMA in Lima. When I returned to LA in the Spring Covid had hit. Turquoise EP was produced in the peak of Covid. Seth and I found ways to work remote from our studios and were able to track our sessions and ultimately mix. Imaginary Thunder has a loneliness to it that couldn’t be escaped during those days. Yet it’s also a celebration of love and the triumph of imagination.

Ultimately a song “Feels About Something”. Imaginary Thunder feels about staying together. Holding on to dreams and positive imagination while acknowledging, that almost always, the source of wisdom is pain. But still, through the toughest of times and the storms of challenge, to never give up no matter what “the clowns” may say or think. It seems to be working for me… 💫"
