Mindspring Music is proud to present Exodus, the latest showcase of psychedelic mid-tempo tunes from Alterra Project. This stunningly pristine 4-track journey is the collaborative effort of three talented producers from England who have their hands in multiple artistic ventures outside of Alterra Project: Dane Andruszko (Okari), Charlie Bartlett (False Identity, Xylem), and Rory Gordziejko (Kwah, Tea Tree). No strangers to the Mindspring imprint, the Exodus EP marks the third release from the trio, following 2017's Turing Test and their sophomore release Holomorphic in 2020. 

A unique and provocative journey, Exodus is an auditory portal into an inverted reality where nothing is quite what it seems, surprises abound, and anything but the expected is to be expected. The funky, squelchy basslines and groovy driving beats provide solid ground to stand on while you safely let your mind navigate the archive of complex and otherworldly soundscapes. As you settle in,  you will be rewarded with tantalizing melodies and mechanical rhythms and futuristic construction. Psychedelic ear candy for all of your imagination.

This an ecstatic set I played for a Cacao Ceremony event -> Dance Under The Stars at The Green Village where I crafted a musical journey beyond the multicultural rhythms and the steady hypnotic beat where ephemeral chanting of sacred songs and calls to love, kindness and compassion will journey deep into dance while held in a ceremonial container, free of alcohol to close the event.

Presenting an immersive and profound atmospheric sound experience, Junior Assunção creates and blends different textures with exotic elements from refined compositions of psy ambient in his mixes. In his sets, he explores rhythmic and harmonious melodies that transition through different styles of downtempo music, harmoniously co-creating with the environment a fluid journey that naturally leads the listener to a mystical and introspective experience. Currently, he is developing and producing his first original project dedicated to psychedelic ambient music. Junior also contributes actively to disseminate the culture and the chillout movement in his country and around the world.
